Batman has been betrayed, but you won't be! 0

When Batman and Robin started I have to say I was sceptical. The first issues seemed a little confusing, but by issue 3 my confidence in the series had been fully restored, and now every month I anticipate the next issue. To my content, issue number 5 is the same! It carries on the story from the first issues, adding even more and giving just enough to keep you in turn wanting more. The Good:The story in this issue was near perfect. The pacing, the page layouts. Everyone was finely crafted and pe...

    The Lie Is Over 2

Peter J. Tomasi really turned things up last issue on this series. You could feel the tension beginning to mount between Bruce and Damian. There to take advantage and tear them apart was none other than the new villain Nobody, the son of Henri Ducard. Tomasi puts a lot of time and focus on Damian this issue as Nobody continues to try and warp his mind, bending it to his will in his attempt to turn Damian against his father.  From the opening page of the issue, we find that Damian has abandoned h...

    Batman And Robin # 5 0

Damian to betray his father The Batman. Robin is currently working for The Nobody or he just be faking he whole time. My best way to describe Damian is that he is a big baby. Acceleration growth from a test tube Damian still has to grow up and be a big man. Right now Damian is still having one of his fits. This issue we also get a origin of how The Nobody came to terms in being The Nobody. The story was overall good. I rate this issue a 3.5 of 5.0 rating.http://djmaximusgodj.tumblr.com/1=wack, 1...

    NotBatman and Robin 0

I absolutely loved the rampant surrealism of the previous cover, but I like this one just as much for the opposite reasons. This one is so creepy on such a simple level. It's Batman and Robin... but not. The cover summarizes the entire reason this arc succeeds, NoBody is sickeningly creepy vision of what Batman could have become. Robin is there out in plain view, but NoBody's self is only half visible, seemingly emerging from the whisps of Robin's cape. Batman can show plenty expression, and str...

    Batman without his robin 0

Good: Bruce finally starts to feel remorse for the way he has been treating his own son. Peter Tomasi shows that Batman genuinely cares for his son by the way he scours Gotham to find Damian. It was interesting how the Ducard's story intersects with Bruce's.Bad: The story was only 20 pages long.Verdict: Things are heating up as Damian is leaning towards his darkside and as Bruce searches for his son....
