Batman further alienates people trying to help him

This month's Batman and... guest-stars Batgirl who gets an up close look at the far more vicious version of Batman the series has been showing us (that hasn't really been appearing in the other Bat-title, at least not to this degree). We get Batman stopping a gang of armed robbers and then a big argument between Batman and Batgirl over the detective's behavior since the loss of Damian.

I like that Batgirl confronts Batman over what she sees as an alarming trend, but the manner in which she does (as an attack, after she's removed the Bat-symbol from her own costume) makes it impossible for Batman to react in any other way other than he does - by throwing her out of the cave. The comic has some nice moments, but I didn't buy all the decisions we get (including Barbara's awkward one-sided conversation to herself).

Batgirl joins the title as the next guest star. Meanwhile, Batman is going deeper into his own failure to save Damian.The GoodBatman is still grieving. With the Batman & Robin title focusing on Batman's interaction with his allies it is interesting to see the viewpoints of each guest star character during this time in Batman's life.
