The kind of angels you wouldn't want to see falling from the sky. 0

From beginning to end, I have to say that the floe of this single issue was absolutely amazing. Having my doubts with both Dick Grayson’s character and the recent issues that I believed to be dragging in the horrors of a developing clichéd concept, how surprised I was when getting the chance to catch the first part of Tree of Blood: Dark Knight vs. White Knight. The team of Peter J Tomasi, Patrick Gleason, Mick Gray, and Alex Sinclair really defined this issue with a classy and a very catchy st...

Time For The New Creative Team 1

Batman and Robin became the book to read after Batman R.I.P. Now that we have a new creative team, how will it stack up?  The Good The opening pages involves all the men in the Batman family. It's an interesting choice to open the comic; entertaining and a little weird. With the new direction of Batman Inc, it's good to see that all the characters still have a connection despite everyone being busy in their own books.   Once the story dives into the meat of the story, we get an idea of where the...

Morrison May Be Gone, But His Spirit Remains 0

The Good: The opening scene is written beautifully. Now that Morrison's run is over, and the Batman Family is just now settling into its new status quo, it's nice to start of the next era in this series with a scene that takes the full brunt of the emotions and slashes it down onto 3 pages. It takes some of the best elements of Batman: The Return and breaks it down into the simplest terms. GLeason draws some really nice panels in the start to compliment Tomasi's writing very well. The close-up o...

I love Damian as Robin 0

I gotta say I'm really liking Dick and Damian as Batman and Robin more than I ever did when Bruce had a Robin. What makes this so enjoyable to me is that Dick is far mor interesting as Batman, he really has some personality to him and Damian just makes it fun to read. The Good Some really good artworkIt's an interesting storyThe scene where Commissioner Gordon scolds Damian for being obnoxious during the post autopsy examination of a dead guy.Seeing Damian use and Ipod and act like a normal kid ...

    Batman & Robin Corps. 0

Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason begin their long awaited, and highly anticipated, run on Batman & Robin. This is Dark Knight, White Knight part 1.   The Good:  The opening of this issue put a smile on my face. The Bat- family gets ready for a movie night. While it may sound weird, it does happen for a purpose and not just to have in thrown into the issue. From there is where things start down a darker path. Someone dies and we don't know why. From here, Batman and Robin investigate this, an...

Wrath of the White Knight! 0

White Knight may not be in this issue but he does make his presence know in a way. So This is the first issue of Batman & Robin I've read and I can tell it won't be my last. So this issue is Good like really good but does have a few minor flaws. The Ending makes me can't wait for the next issue. This issue also marks the possible Death of a pretty Major Bat-character not gonna give it away till the end in spoiler part. The wrighting and art is good. My problems are Bruce saying the whole fam...

    Batman and Robin #20 0

The new creative team of Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason move into the house Grant Morrison built and tackle the Dynamic Duo. Their first foray? A good old fashioned mystery.  The Good Early in the story Batman & Robin are called in by Gordon to investigate the body of a john doe who plunged from a rooftop dressed as an angel, complete with glowing wings. With all the cosmic and supernatural goings on in the Batman world lately it's refreshing to see "The world's greatest detective" doin...

    Brightest Day?Don´t think so! 1

The creative team of Tomasi and Gleason are working together for a long time now and they know what makes each other tick, so this book was pratically screaming to be picked up and I don´t regret I did so. This is the first issue of Batman and Robin that I´ve read and it was pretty good. The interactions between Dick and Damian are fun, acid and their moves together are crazy, it´s like they aren´t scared of death, they defy death. The plot of this arc story is still a little dark, despite being...
