"A Little Boy in a Carnival Costume"

Batman and Robin #11, Batman vs. Robin Part 2, finds Damian exactly where we left him in the last issue, with Detective Sexton in the Wayne Family graveyard.  Dick is in some underground cave, NOT the Batcave, and Alfred is in the flying Batmobile, overseeing the activities.  We also get a glimpse at someone we should all know, Dr Hurt who has a "W" maimed into his back.  He's coming back to Gotham  We also learn how Damian is seemingly being manipulated by Talia.  Also there is another player, someone from Dick Grayson's days in the Teen Titans and Titans that plays a magnificent role in these events with Damian.

    The Good
Any Clarke's artwork fits this specific story arc, which is written by none other than Grant Morrison.  The Art and story do not waiver under the immense pressure this arc has placed upon itself.
Damian is starting to grow on me.  His character has a direction now, something I think he severely lacked in the past, even with Morrison.  He's become a character who the fans can start to sympathize with.  The whole notion of him being controlled and his attempts at resistance speak volumes in this issue.

    The Bad
The length seemed a little short this month, maybe it was the first couple pages, but i feel like there should be a Batman and Robin 11.5

    The Fake Accent
One thing that has driven the past few issues in this arc is the introduction of a character.  Detective Sexton has allegedly been lying about his nationality.  Many have theorized he was Bruce Wayne, and someone even asks him that question straight out.  Regardless of who he is, I'm looking forward to where this story goes

Overall fantastic issue, the ending will make you want this next month to go by like that.  You'll want Batman and Robin #12.
If you're a new reader, it's kind of hard to jump on in this issue, if you've been following then you should have this issue.

      The stroke of death 0

Grant Morrison and artist Andy Clarke continue to roll in the second part of the "Batman vs. Robin" as the Dynamic Duo fight it out in the ultimate death duel. But what happens when Damina's mother Talia sends out an old enemy to finish the job her son couldn't stomach?     The Batman and Robin Series has been broken up into 3 issue arcs that have featured different artists.  Grant Morrison tailors his story to the strengths of his artist.  I think Andy Clarke is a fine compliment to Grant's st...

      Lines, Lines, Lines 0

Though I had some problems with the previous issue, I essentially liked the direction in which this arc was going. I loved the haunted mansion stuff, and I enjoyed seeing the mystery of Bruce Wayne's return unravelling. This issue, though, was weaker and I was left slightly disappointed.  So Dick is busy exploring the basement whilst Damian is assisting Sexton with his Domino Killer stuff. Alfred is in the Batmobile keeping an eye on both, meanwhile Talia is remotely controlling Damian's actions...
