The Return of Bruce Wayne begins here!

First off, let me say before anything else, that if Damian Wayne was always portrayed the way he is in this book, I might not have hated his character at first.
Anyway as is, the issue starts with Damian telling the board at Wayne Enterprises that they pretty much suck and that he's found a financial irregularity.  Oberon Sexton, meanwhile has invited Batman to his apparent home to tell him that Bruce Wayne may be in danger.  There is something familiar about him and I want to believe its a certain character but I don't want to either.  Batman and Robin get called to Wayne Manor by Alfred and they start to see apparent clues in the Manor that were left by someone.  There are some apparent nods to the future mini-series the Return of Bruce Wayne in some pictures of the Wayne Family portraits.
Damian begins to wonder what will happen if they find Bruce and in one of my favorite scenes in this book.  He asks Dick that if Bruce returns they can't be Batman and Robin anymore.  Dick tells him probably not.  Damian then asks if Dick thinks that Bruce will let him stay as Robin.  As the conversation continues Dick asks him what started all this and we get a flashback to wheel chair Damian.  Talia has some harsh things to say about the Batman Family.  Without spoiling the rest of the issue I'll just say that maybe Damian isn't the ass most of us thought he was.  Like I said before, if this was how he was written throughout all the Batman titles, he would probably be one of my favorite characters.  This story arc is off to a strong start and I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going.
Grant Morrison's writing is back to form.  The only complaints are that Batman and Robin are in costume at Wayne Manor and I just don't see Dick calling Alfred Alfie.
The art by Andy Clarke is very good, the only complaint is that sometimes Damian looks older than 10.
Essential to your Batman comics collection.  Go buy it.

"Batman vs Robin" part 1. This issue is written by the great Grant Morrison and drawn by Andy Clarke. I read this and i loved it. This is a great start to this new arc. The art in this is beautiful. Andy Clarke did an awesome job drawing this. The story is also fantastic. Morrison knows how to write a great story that draws you in. Morrison and Clarke are both really good creators, and i look forward to the rest of this arc. But let me get to my review of this issue. In the beginning we have Bat...

There's not a whole lot to add to the reviews of this book that are already out there but here is my take on the  B&R #10.  Grant Morrison's disparate plot threads start to come together in fine fashion with this issue.  The series had been set up in three issue arcs but in no way should you have thought that there wasn't an underlying story that is running as an undercurrent that connects them all.  It all started years ago at the beginning of Morrison's run on Batman and we are seeing th...
