    Batman # 8 Review

What a issue this was! Suspense was at all time high as Bruce pulls out all the stops to protect his house. As the cover shows Bruce is ambushed by a gang of talons. Luckily Bruce he knows his estate better than anyone. With a few tricks up his sleeve he alludes the talons and keeps them locked out. Then out comes bruce in a full battle suit. The battle suit is quite huge and Bruce seems quite mad. " Get the hell out of my house " I don't think I would say it any differently. Now for the back up which didn't really feel like a back up at all. It ties in quite well with story and my opinion jumps starts the "Nite Owls" event. Alfred being the most handy butler of all time puts the whole bat family on notice. Overall it was well worth the 3.99 , my few complaints was the back up interior art , and batwing not being included on Alfred distress call. He's part of the family and should of been included.

THE GOOD: I really love Greg Capullo's artwork on this series. He makes the art beautiful and scary. This is the first time in a comic where I ever had a scared feeling sorta looming on the page, and he is very much responsible for that. The story is where this issue strikes home. Bruce Wayne's house has fallen under attack by several Talons. Alfred and Bruce have to fight back just to survive. I love this issue because it showcases the manor so much. It also makes you really like Alfred. Bruce ...
