What happened to Batman between Batman R.I.P. and Final Crisis? Grant Morrison and Tony Daniel come together to explain what happened to the Caped Crusader in the 30 day period before Batman was killed.  The Good Grant Morrison's writing can get a little confusing, unless you're reading every issue in a story back-to-back. Speedy review:  Well, as Grant promised over a year ago we are getting the story of what happened between the end of RIP and Final Crisis.  Tony Daniel is on the art duties so we have the Batman RIP team back together to finish the story.  We get a review of the main points and it is good to see Bruce in the Cape and Cowl again.  No I haven't missed him like some but that is a credit to the teams writing Dick as Batman and the natural fit that Dick would take over.  Grant reminds us of what we h...

The lost chapters of RIP 0

So.....ever wondered what Bruce was doing before Darkseid sent him back in time? Well, Morrison finally have the answers we've been waiting for to fill in those gaps.   Pros:  To be honest, I'm glad to see Bruce again as Batman than Dick even though this is a flashback arc. We all should know that Bruce does not take anything for granted, as he came close to death from Dr. Hurt who is claiming to be his Father (or the devil). This is where Morrison's writing comes in.
