Immortals
Endgame continues to amaze and puzzle as the latest issue takes hold on a brand new twist of how the Joker is depicted. Joker has often been described as deranged, mad, or just simply crazy but is that really the truth? Snyder goes on to write the Joker as someone who uses being crazy as a guise for actually just being evil. As usual Joker sends Batman down the rabbit hole by saying he's older than what he thinks. We see a glimpse of this in the previous issue but now it seems full bloated leaving Batman with only one more option to hopefully find out the truth of what the Joker truly is and if he's telling the truth of what he is.
The Good: Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo create a sense of fun, danger, mystery and horror in nearly every issue of Endgame thus far with this issue leaning towards a side of mystery and horror. The shading done in the artwork really reflect the mood of the writing.
The Bad: Nothing too bad if you can handle Joker being on the same scale as Vandal Savage and Ra's Al Ghul.
The Verdict: This issue leads to a lot more questions as too what this virus is and what the Joker is as well but doesn't bore the reader and instead keeps us in suspense as to what will be next.
9/10 would read again.
