A Drizzle of Rain Starts A Flood
The cover is nice but, really has nothing to do with the story. So, i really was disappointed with the cover. The story begins with Batgirl saving a train full of Gotham passengers from a man who wants to blow up the train. The best part of these panels was on page 6 ,this is including back and fronts. It is the first panel on the top were Batgirl kicks the guy holding the bomb in the face. Her face in this panel is very dark and mysterious and I love it. We see Commissioner Gordon complement Steph for a job well done. He even almost said that she reminded him of Babs but stopped himself. Then a drop of rain drops of Batgirl's face which gave me the idea of the title of this review. Wendy and oracle are at Gotham U and Bryan Q. Miller reminds us that Wendy is the daughter of the calculator. We have a new case for Commissioner Gordon with a death or some kind of suicide. Babs and Steph are fixing up their little batcave and Steph gets an alert. A security guard is under control from something and Batgirl tries to save him but, because she was not strong enough he ended up dieing. Which I think might be on her mind for a little while and maybe will come back in the next issue. Babs and Steph find out that something was contolling him and Oracle knows exactly what was controlling him. in the end we see calculator and his son wanting too get his daughter back. I thought the issue was average nothing that great. It seems to me we only got a little chunk of the story that is about to come. A little drop of the flood. i just hope they do not leave all the story to the last issue of this story arc. The art for this issue was average and nothing really was that great. The only great thing was what i mentioned in the beginning of my review about her face when she kicks the guy in the face. That was the best art and the best in the writting was when commissioner gordon almost compared her to Babs. So I give this issue a 3 and 1/2.
