    Batgirl 21 continues to develop the rich internal world that Gail Simone has created for her heroine. It is a world that sometimes turns off the fans of grunting super heroes that live in a sea of pathos but is loved by the devoted fan base, to which I belong.     Dancing Like Puppets On Life's Stage 0

    This cover's not as outright creepy as the previous one, but it's absolutely gorgeous, a haunting eerie kind of beauty. I'm really glad to hear Alex Garner is going to be doing Batgirl covers regularly for the near future. Seriously, Garner is an amazing artist born to do cover work. He's mastered the layout style, details, atmosphere; everything.
