I'm sure a lot of you guys will pick Wally because you grew up with him in the JL cartoon.
Well, I grew up watching Barry Allen in the live action The Flash tv series^^
(which kicked ass btw!)
 
But Wally and Bart are great too :)
(since I like the concept & the characters, I sort of dig 'em all!)
 
And Jay Garrick is a badass!

My vote will forever go to Wally West. He had to overcome all the villains and trouble that came with Barry, growing pains, being treated as an adult hero and not just a kid, plus marriage and later children. Not to mention having your mentor die, visit you from the future every now and then, and then eventually come back. Oh, and evil alternate selves. And losing your children and marriage. And the entire world knowing who you are. Wally had it rough and then DC just threw him to the side like he was nothing special. Ugh...

Hmmmm kind of hard to say Barry always has trouble when it comes to the Speed Force while Wally has kind of figured out how to go in and get out of the speed force. I dont know who to pick.

Barry Allen, without a question. I love the amalgamation and the contrast of stability and constant movement in this character. Excellent summery of Barry Allen, Mr. Pinchuk.

I'll always choose Wally, because we've seen the most of his journey. From a young Kid Flash, to an awkward 20 something Flash trying to find his way in the shadow of his dead mentor and father figure, until finally we come to him fully being his own man and hero. Barry is great, and he's a quintessential DC hero, but when people say the Flash, I always  will think of Wally West.

Wally West is a great character, but Barry Allen is the best Flash.

when there are a  bunch of pics with the 4 of them , owell im i huge flash fan but the only reason i am is because of wally !!!!

I'm going with Wally.  If you look at it this "Barry" isn't the Barry who died in the Crisis, hell he's not the same Barry who's been in all the "flashback" stories of the last 20 plus years
 
Now that would have been a good story, silver age Barry comes back and talks to people about the pre-Crisis DCU..and noone knows what he's talking about

I personally like wally better. Then again I also think Kyle was a much better green lantern than Hal, so maybe I'm totally out there.
 
On a side note, When jay is super=speeding around, what keeps his helmet on?

Wally West is the definitive flash for me. I am in my mid 30's and as long as I have been into comics Wally has been the Flash. I am convinced bringing back Barry is a mistake. Wally had surpassed him going from his Kid Flash days to the big leagues as The Flash. My own theory about Barry coming back was not what the fans wanted but what the editors wanted because Barry was the Flash when they were a young fan and now they can make things the way they like them. Of course that is the same reason we have Hal Jordan crammed down out throats in Green Lantern but I wont get into that right now.
