I want to start reading The Flash comics, so whose run should I start with?

1.)Mark Waid

2.)Geoff Johns

3.)New 52

4.)Rebirth (2016)

P.s. I know Mark Waid's run is on Wally West. I just couldn't find an umbrella Flash forum so I decided to post in both.

Waid's run tells the basics of Wally West's maturity into the role of the Flash and introduces the Speed Force as a concept in comics history so I'd suggest you start with his run.

If you want to read more on Barry Allen, though, I'd suggest you first read Geoff Johns' "Flash Rebirth" limited series and then read his 2010 Flash run and Flashpoint before moving onto New 52 and Rebirth.

I thought Buccellato and Manapul’s New 52 run was pretty awesome. Story is good, art is gorgeous, and it’s a pretty good starting point for Flash and Barry Allen

Also Flash Rebirth is hella good

Barry- New 52 then Rebirth

Wally- Waid‘s Run then some of Johns

Great order, Just add Flashpoint before the New52 run.
