Absolutely.

First of all his death was utterly moronic. They killed him off as an utterly, stupidly, contrived plot device to make the Whiny Emo Teen Vulcan look bad ass.  Since Banshee can fly, how the hell did he get hit by a plane? Couldn't he have moved up or down a few feet?

Stupid, stupid death. And then his death was pretty much ignored by the X-Writers. Think of it this way, Joseph was on the X-Men for four years and got an entire issue devoted to mourning his death. Banshee was an X-Men or affiliate for 40 years and what does he get? A single panel group headstone shot.

Banshee was a vastly underrated character by many writers who, caught up in the "Ex-TREEEEME Angstitude" of modern comics, didn't know what to do with a character who actually had a decent head on his shoulders and a sense of humor.

Sean had been through the tragedy, lost a wife, tried to connect to a daughter he had no hand in raising, had the super-villain relative, etc. And yet he properly processed those events and moved on with his life. He was an upbeat character who always tried to do the right thing, and also realistic enough to tell Paige "It's going to get worse before it gets better." back in Gen X. In short, Sean was an honest to Gawd good man.

And his background, such as his time in Interpol, had never been fully mined for stories.

No. Enough with the resurrections. Banshee was  good character, and he did get screwed over with the way he died, but having him come back just affirms the stereotype that no X-Men stay dead. Plus, I like the way Siryn is developing as a character and her conviction that her father is still alive makes her more human, IMO. If he actually is alive, Siryn can just go "I TOLD you so!" Not to mention Banshee has no place in the X-Men anymore. His powers got nerfed and he was already feeling out of place when he died. If he came back and saw what had happened between Scott and Xavier, I don't think he would even return to the X-Men.

His sonic power are what allow his to fly, something he didnt have at that point in time.

Banshee deserves to be brought back.  He needs to kick the butt of one of the newbie X-men when he returns.

it would be coolif they can bring him back in a creative manner. non of that magical resurection crap

How do we know that the whole purpose of Necrosha is to bring back certain formerly alive mutants by some strange means?

I suppose only time will tell. I have my suspicions though that the purpose is to bring back characters the writers think they still have stories for. 

I think the purpose is just to torture mutants, since that is basically what Kyle and Yost are best at.

I love the character, but it gets to a point where dead people need to stay dead. I don't like how he just kind of died and they never really acknowledged it. Part of me would like to see them bring Siryn to the X-men to kinda follow in her father's footsteps. Same thing with Rachel Summers taking up the name of Marvel Girl.

I've always liked Banshe. I thought his death in Deadly Genesis had the desired affect of being shocking. I would have loved there to be a tribute issue to him. I hated Joseph and his tribute issue was dumb and unncessary. I also don't really like it when charectes are brought back to life. But I would love for Banshee to come back and be a major player on an X-team again. As long it is done well. And Jean can stay gone as far as I'm concerned.

I want Banshee back. And I want him to be written with a bit of an upgrade in power. Banshee was cool as heck and deserves to be written better.

Only as an undead minion for some bad guys as far as I could tell. I'd like to see him come back for real was what I'm saying. By that I mean as a living person not under the control of some Necromancer's will. A member of the X-Men.
