    LOL

In all seriousness though, Pre52 Bane on Venom was probably like around the 3 ton range.

New52 could arguably be close to around Class 10.

Venom is like in Class 20. He's significantly stronger than Bane.

He has the skill to run with the heavy hitters but not the strength itself.

Spidey is consistently shown to be around Class 10-15, with very RARE moments he exceeds that and hits like Class 25-30.

So going by consistency, and feats, Venom really only needs to be around 20-25 to be stronger than Spidey.

Carnage is the only one who's in the 50 ton range.

@jmarshmallow: lifting a bulldozer above his head is an 50-60 ton feat seeingd as most weight averaging 60 tons

Not to mention spidey's greatest feats are 40 ton plus a New York subway carriage can weigh upto 100 tonnes

Lifting up a truck with one tendril is also massively impressive

@thetrauminator: Off venom, pre-flashpoint Bane can bench 1,500 pounds, more than half a ton. Batman bench presses 1,000 pounds, Captian America benches 1,100, and Batman one million lifts 1,070. Cementing Bane as the strongest street level character in comics. If you want squats, leg press, and just lifting above your head then that is undisclosed. Batman though, Batman leg pressed a train and lifted 6 tons (two 3 ton sarcophagus), and Bane is stronger than him so there is a start.

On venom (the only time we've seen him) new 52 Banes bench max is undisclosed. However he threw Killer Crock a very, very long distance in Forever Evil: Arkham War. Killer Crock weighs 690 pounds. He also fell off a roof with no visible damage, fought armies of Talons (one toners), and tore a large amount of Man Bats (600 pounds) with ease.

Conan has benched a coffin lid stated to weigh one ton on panel off of himself, with relative ease. He then bent the iron bars of his mausoleum. Daredevil has flipped a limo full of people with ease. Kingpin has casually bent steel and hefted girders. "Strongest street-leveler" my butt.

    Transformation Thrombosis

Bane is very different from Venom. Bane is much more power-hungry, while Venom is just pain dirty.

The symbiote makes Eddie Brock mentally transformed, while Bane's special strength-chemical (incidentally called 'venom') makes him more happy.

I would compare Bane to Juggernaut or Rhino.

@@abishai100: a MILLION TIMES NO!! He is nowhere near that level, and never will be! Thanks to the Arkham series, people now think of him this way. Bane even in the NEW52 is only around 5 tons, max. Croc was giving him trouble, so on Venom, 5 tons, off; we don't know yet.

    Steroids Shop: Symbiote vs. Venom

Bane makes for good creative-writing "meat porridge brunch" steroids-talk.

Which character has more steroids symbolism (if either), Bane (with his strength-transforming 'venom' juice) or Venom (a symbiote strength-mutant)?
