If he can't take the mask off...how does he eat?!? He is a rather large dude for not getting his protein.

He probably takes his mask off really quickly, eats one bite, and puts his mask back on while gasping for air. Very difficult procedure but I think it's possible.

He gets shot with a painkiller takes it off, eats, then when the effect goes off he puts it back

I think Bane has a special room that's filled with the painkiller gas where he can take his mask off like how Mr. Freeze has refrigerated rooms where he can take his cryosuit off.

Also I'm pretty sure the mask helps him breathe, not just put away the pain.

On topic, more likely than not he is either fed intravenously, or he eats like anyone else who needs an oxygen mask: Take a bite, take a breath. Take a bite, take a breath, etc. Or perhaps he just takes off the mask and toughs it out til he's done, then puts it back on.

I think the mask is not for breathing. It's for pain. When asked what would happen if it was removed, he didn't say "I wouldn't be able to breathe", he said "it would be extremely painful". And even his little tubies knocked out of place f"d him up. So painkillers.

i think he is being nourished by a needle, comic bane can eat like normal humans but i think he dont need to eat or drink when he use venom

Bane can't take of the mask lol, then he gets in true pain and hard breathing mode. I am pretty sure he feeds himself with the venom tubes. He must be really tired of soap atm.
