Fanatic vs. Fanatic.
The Good: We get some awaited backstory on our friend The Crusader. It was a good time to get it, and it was a good backstory.
The Crusader himself is still as eeriely happy as ever.
We actually get to see the moment where he received that cross-burn. It was powerful.
We get more history on the Order of Purity.
Some nice fight scenes.
The Bad: The ending is a little cliche.
The issue doesn't really go anywhere.
In Conclusion: 3/5
This issue is really hard to describe in bullet points like I usually do. I mean, it continued the story well, and had that David Hine craziness I've come to expect, but in the whole I;m just a little disappointed with this issue. They spend way too much time standing around talking, and they get into some cheesy situations as well as a bit of an ass-pull. But It's was enjoyable. It was cool, and continued the story, and I'm still excited as hell to see how The Killer of Saints ends.
