    Great Issue 1

The GoodI wasn't expecting much from this book but I was gladly mistaken. Zeb Wells is probably the best writer for Spider-mans comedic lines. The comedy and excellent conclusion gave me more to enjoy other than Joe Madureira's art, which was amazing as usual. The art was one of the main reasons I was buying this book but I'm glad it became more than just pretty pictures. Avenging Spider-man is a fun comic to read, you're not going to any big story arc's or Peter Parker drama, just exciting team...

It's amazing how fun this book was and how it just stops me think of the horrible things Marvel did with Spider-man for a few minutes. That's pretty impressive. Then, right at the end, it reminds you again in two ways. The Red Hulk calls Spider-man 'the kid' even though Peter is supposed to be about 27. That's not a kid. Wow! Closing up this story was extraordinary nonetheless fantastic. Joe Mad pencils are very memorable moments in comic book history. The story was very well told, betwen Spider-Man and J Jonah Jameson there’s just great character development. You will not be disappointed. I love the final confrontation between the Molans and Spider-Man was a great ending. What is it with Spider-Man titles being on fire? Not sure but it’s a good thing. I will not not be picking up next issue because Greg Land is...

The art here was top notch, and really helped move the story along and Spider-Man was funny with Red Hulk to act as a foil but that's about it.The closing "battle" while certainly showing Spidey's tenacity left me feeling slightly cheated at the conclusion the humor in it just felt out of place when compared to the events of issue two....

Synopsis Spider-Man and Jameson are escaping the creatures when Spider-Man says that he has to go back for Red Hulk. Mole man encourages the creatures to attack the surface world since Rulk has been defeated. Spider-Man confronts the creatures and challenges their leader to a fight. Rulk is revealed to be alive and pulls the sword out. Spider-Man gets brutalized in the fight until he uses the rock to remove the creature's armor, embarrassing him. Rulk is prepared to fight the creature aga...
