I've been reading Spidey tales for quite a while, so after that opening sequence, you kind of have to question whether Spidey's story is on the up and up. I mean, throwing feces at a giant worm in hopes that you'll make it expel its meal of red and blue seems a little unlikely. Be that as it may, it's exactly the kind of story that Spidey would fabricate for his adoring audience. Anything for the fans really.This issue is jam packed just like the previous masterpiece. Avenging Spider-Man #2 - More! by theduffel on December 07, 2011

Miraculous and compelling is the new series of Peter Parker. Spidey is on a lot of teams from what I've heard but this is the money maker. Month two of the anticipated Avenging Spider-Man line and well it has me raving. Joe Madureira brings such fluid masterful art to the table, you can't help but be mesmerized. Avenging spider man confuses it's purpose with me. Spiderman is featured on 2 teams of Avengers, and has his own book, but this book is just a little bit different. This book seems to focus on the melee and bam boom pow of the super hero world. In both issues we have 2 major fights, some better than the others some longer than the others, it's all very fun.
