So why these members in particular?
Thing, Quicksilver, Namor, and Wolvie shouldn't even count. I am all for them helping out but they have their own teams. Agent Venom and Rulkie just make me sick as characters (if you have read my rants I believe in writing new stuff instead of painting the Hulk different colors). Dare Devil and Spider Man are solo acts, sort of the same problem with character who are on actual other teams. Hawkeye, Widow (not on the OP), and Falcon would be dead by mission 4. Wow I am a Negative Nelly. In answer to the question: Falcon is the worst Avenger and perhaps the worst character. Ever.
Rulk (Needs to die. Seriously)
Agent Venom (I like my Venom villainous, though I've heard his series is good)
Namor (Shouldn't be an Avenger)
Also, why all the hate for Falcon? I haven't read much of him, but he seemed cool enough in Brubaker's run of Cap and he was able to control the Garden's animal-thingies in Hickman's Avengers.
As a character: Rulk
As Avengers: Wolverine, Spider-Man, Namor, 3/4 of the FF, Daredevil... who decided to make 90% of the Marvel U Avengers anyway?

I actually like all of these characters, but Rulk, Namor, Venom, Thing, and Quicksilver are the ones that interest me the least as Avengers.

Falcon. Totally useless.

Falcon.He's useless.
THANK YOU!
Falcon has the potential to be really cool, if someone would just do something with him. He may not be the most powerful, but neither are Cap', Hawkeye, or Black Widow, and they're all cool. He is basically a super-soldier, right? Plus he can fly, which a lot of characters can't, and he can see through the eyes of birds (and communicate with them), allowing him to potentially be one of the most versatile spies in a really creative and flavourful way.
It's true that he hasn't always been written to be the most interesting character, but I still feel that a writer who really understood his potential could really make him shine. I'm really glad to see he's back on the team, I just hope he actually gets to do some stuff.

@dangallant984: i will say this much ult. sam wilson is cool , but not the 616 version. that mini leading up to AvX starring cable pretty much summed up how i viewed falcon.
I never read it..

@dangallant984: he got shot & fell in a dumpster .
pfft, that could happen to most characters, really; sounds like the writer was just not interested in him, to me.
Rulk - had potential, but Loeb made him a joke character to me. Now I just can't take the character seriously at all, I actually try to avoid comics with this guy, and tend to instinctively groan a little whenever I do read anything with him in it. Even without the Loeb factor I would prefer him as a villain. EMH did a good job with him, that's Rulk done right; comic Rulk just annoys me.
Sentry - Felt like he was being forced on us as a replacement for Thor. Didn't care for him at all when he was in the Avengers, though I did kindof like him as a villain during Dark Reign.
Namor - It took me a while, but I've decided I don't really like this guy, at all. Don't like him in the Avengers, don't like him in the Fantastic Four, and especially don't like him in the X-Men. Like the above two characters, he's decent as a villain, but can't stand him as a hero.
Mockingbird - Her resurrection made no sense at all to me. If the Skrulls were so ruthless, why the hell did they keep her alive for what must have been years? Especially since Earth believed her to be dead and the agent they had impersonating her had been killed a while ago, she had clearly outlived her usefulness to the Skrulls. The whole thing felt like Bendis playing favorites with her and Hawkeye (who, surprise, I also don't like that much, but don't dislike enough to include here).

Wolverine. I don't really like him in general and he shouldn't be an Avenger.
Haha! Finally, we disagree on something! Wolverine's my second favorite superhero, and I thinks he serves his role as the mutant community/X-Men's representative on the Avengers well. I could go more in depth, but I'll leave it at that...
OP: Falcon because he's useless and is just a token black character for diversity's sake (although that probably isn't the case anymore with the whole "Nick Fury Jr." thing), and Namor because he's a huge douche. I also don't understand Shang-Chi's character. Don't hate him, just don't really know much about him.

As Avengers, I hate Daredevil, Namor, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and others. I like the characters, but I hate them as Avengers.
As character, Monica Rambeau (originally Captain Marvel, though she later went by Photon and Pulsar).
This. What pisses me off most is that characters like Spider-man and Wolverine are there for no reason but to boost sales. If they actually did something worthwhile or even had some real reason for being there i'd be completely fine with it.
They have a few on there I like but, never cared for the avengers at all as a group, or many of the members. Always leaned towards the x-teams. They just seem so self righteous and rather dull to me. Actually now that I look at the list I really don't like a lot of them. Maybe that's it. A whole team of unlikeables. That'd be a good team name :)
Gotta go with Rulk or Hank Pym.
Rulk because he was a Marvel publicity stunt and because the Avengers already has enough strong guys.
Hank Pym: Because in the part fifteen years no writer has had him do anything I would call heroic.
While Falcon may not be the most powerful hero he served as a good every-man style character both during Loeb's run on The Avengers and in the Captain America books. He's best when treated like a normal Shield agent or detective that just happens to have powers and really high connections.
@TheAcidSkull:
Wolverine- i Love wolverine but he has no Business being on the avengers team
hawkeye- same as wolverine
Black Widow- same as hawkeye.
Please elaborate. Right now the argument you are presenting is just circular logic. This character should not be on the Avengers because they should not be on the Avengers.
It's not that I "hate" anyone, it's just that I think some people have no business in the team. Such as:
1. Rulk (no reason to be an Avenger)
2. Scarlet Witch (great character, but too unstable to be in any team)
3. Quicksilver (doesn’t fit)
4. Ant Man (totally dislike him. I’m sorry for his fans, but he’s not heroic at all. No place on the team)
5. Wasp (no matter how much we like her, she has nothing to offer anymore)
6. War Machine (seriously, the only reason he’s on the team is because he’s Iron Man’s best friend. Get him out now.)
7. Fantastic Four (They are a team on their own! Why would they be in the Avengers too?! I adore them and they should always work with the Avengers, but I don’t know what are they doing as Avengers that they didn’t already do on their own!)
8. Namor (has his own kingdom, for God’s sake)
9. Black Panther (same as Namor)
Cooperation with all of them, yes. But they shouldn’t be on the team.
@ruler: Rulk without a doubt
Hawkeye: I'm fine with him. He's earned his place.
Rulk: Never should have existed and if he did should have gone back to normal after the story was over.
Namor: He's fine for what he is but he shouldn't be an avenger.
Captain America: The guy is the Avengers pure and simple.
Falcon: I can't stand his looks and there isn't anything about his character that I like to get past it. Everytime I see him I think why is the non character here.
Carol Danvers: I like her and she is an Avenger. Not as much as before she became Captain Marvel. They seem like two different characters too me. I also hate her look and think the name change is wrong.
Agent Venom: Interesting for awhile but I think they should lay that idea to rest.
Thing: I like him but he's not an Avenger.
Dr Strange: I like him but I don't think his place is on a Superhero team. If he was on a team it should be one focused on magic.
Hulk: I like him but his Avengers days should be over.
Wolverine: i don't like what modern writers are doing to Wolverine. I'm starting not to like him when I was a fan before. He also should never have been an Avenger.
Daredevil: I get why people like him but he never really did it for me. Also shouldn't be an Avenger.
Quicksilver: Don't really like him but then again I think he's the guy on the team you shouldn't like.
