The Avengers are Earth's mightiest heroes and foremost super-team... "There came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born - to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Heed the call, then - for now, the Avengers Assemble!"
New Avengers Set Photos: Captain America, Black Widow & Hawkeye in Action
The more and more I see of Hawkeye and Black Widow, the more and more I care less about the big four (Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America). They look so awesome and Jeremy Renner is rocking that bow like a beast.
I liked Cap's outfit in his own movie, but . . . without the effect of special effect (some fillm grain filters over it), this looks to bright, too cartoony, too plastic fantastic and ill fitted to the form. As others have said so many times, we are justing seeing stills, it may look different in motion/post production . . . . well I certainly hope so because it strikes to the fear of translating comics to film and it shouldn't since we've already seen this character looking so much better in his solo release. Maybe, this is the costume he gets saddled with early on by the new military outfit before he goes back to something less public cute (like in his own movie where they paraded him around as a symbol versus a soldier). Fingers crossed.
Chris looks really uncomfortable in that suit, but I love Scarlet/Widow's and Jeremy/Hawkeye's. Cap's is cool as well, just without that obnoxious helmet.
Are the actors playing Thor and Loki really that much taller than everyone else or is it their boots? Either way, it's good to see that they are making the Aesir bigger than the humans. Waiting for this movie makes me so mad! I say thee nay!
cap's costume is the worst. This is TV show material. The new Supes costume is a lot better.
Take note from Zack Snyder, spend some more time and effort on the costume Marvel.
I will agree that Cap's helmet looks a bit off, but the miracles post-production can bring are many. I really like the rest of his costume though, especially the main torso area. And the brightness that people are bitching about probably won't stay since there is never one costume; you always have multiple for various reasons so this one might just be more bright than the others, even if not I like how bright it is; gives the team a good heroic flavor. For Hawkeye it was a given that they were going to do a form of his costume from the Ultimates - if they had done a complete remake of his original costume everyone here would have called it the most awful thing they'd ever seen in their life.
This is the problem with superhero movies; the costumes are always going to be a big dividing factor for people. There are some people who think Superman's new look in the Man of Steel is good, I don't. There are some people who think Thor should've looked more Nordic instead of "Space Nordic" again I don't. Some people think Iron Man looked great, I agree with them (but deep down I wished he would've gone with the Golden Avenger armor, just for a little bit). You take what you can get, I personally think that the costumes in the Avengers look great and they'll look better when the movie is finished and in theaters.
Soo how exactly is that costume/armor supposed to help protect Cap' from mischievous Gods, invading Skrulls and rampaging Hulks?
P.S Hi guys, I've been visiting this site for a while now and just decided to register :P so go easy on me!

Cap's head piece is definitely different, seems to be more form fitted, but the suit almost makes him look...smaller? But as for the color, it'll be color corrected in post, so we'll probably get a different hue at that point. Otherwise, the 9 year old me is quite ecstatic.
EDIT: The 26 year old me is excited too. Just in case anyone was concerned.
I was gonna make mention of that as well. He looks smaller for some strange reason. And the first celebuzz photo sort of confirms that for me. He looked buff in the first movie, and here he looks almost scrawny.
Chris Hemsworth still looks quite big.
Hawkeye will steal the show, methinks. It just seems like he'll be that sort of character.Hawkeye's like "pfft Skrulls? yea what ever."
Oh, and people, Cat's costume has to be CGI'd, don't stress.

Costumes look good in the comics but look so cheesy in movies. Thor and Captain america's costume look like they're sent to a child's birthday party.
