Marvel don't give a rat's about Parker or his series. They did the exact same with Agents of Atlas, the minute someone else came along with a "better take on it". With this, it was doomed to failure. They relaunched it early mid-story arc with legacy numbering when it was clearly relaunching with a new direction at the same time as Marvel NOW books were hitting? Why didn't we get Thunderbolts #175-184 and then a Dark Avengers #1? Why give it zero promotion or anything like that? Because Marvel want this book to tank to compliment their new Thunderbolts book (which will usurp it's upcoming #200). Notice that this one, X-Factor, Gambit, Age of Apocalypse and X-Treme X-Men were always last on the solicits? Even below DISNEY'S CARS MAGAZINE. Considering Age of Apocalypse and X-Treme X-Men are also canceled. Honestly, the question you should be asking is "why did Marvel even bother?".

Kind of weird how they restart every series, except those who have a legitimate reason for a new #1 as Dark Avengers, Red She-Hulk or Journey into mystery.

I think Marvel doesn't even care what happens with those characters.

I think it means the story-arc. I saw an interview of Parker for Newsarama or CBR and he was talking about his future plans for the title, so I don't think they'll cancel it

Thunderbolts / Dark Avengers has been an amazing series! I don't understand why they'd cancel it!! The new Thunderbolt series is horrible - it doesn't have the same build up it had with the Original Thunderbolt series, and sure Dark Avengers was meh starting off but it had great characters and now they're just cancelling it!? Total BS Marvel, total BS.
