I've been reading Hickman's Avengers run, and just read the first issue of the "Infinity" event (I think it's considered an event? I'm a fairly newer reader), which I knew nothing about. It started off talking about events that didn't take place in the previous Avengers issue, and I realized there was another book titled "Infinity", and evidently a few issues of New Avengers tie in to it also.

My question is: Is it worth it to go to my LCS and pick up the Infinity and New Avengers Issues? Or is it unnecessary/not worth it?

    Thanks!!

I really enjoyed Infinity, I'd say just get it all in a hardback trade.

@oscars94: That makes sense, I saw the trade at my LCS, but at the same I already have the Avengers floppies, I just need the Infinity and New Avengers...I gotta think about it, haha. Thanks!

I think its worth but especially so if you are enjoying his Avengers run. There will be some repetitive moments and scenes, but overall gives a more complete story.

I think Infinity was fun and well presented. I would recommend it.

@inagalaxynearby: Infinity was one of the weaker events to come out recently. And of course it about the end of the world....again, since Hickman cant seem to write about anything else. Hickman tries to tell two stories at once and they both ended up weaker for it. Honestly look up some reviews for it first, then make your decision, especially if you're going to pick up the paperback or hardcover editions.

I have been enjoying it, and I'm desperately trying to catch-up while I'm on break before the spring semester starts, so I'm thinking picked up the trade is the way to go.

Looking up reviews is a very valid point, I suppose I should've started there.

    Thanks for the advice!
