Except for Captain Marvel, this is pretty much all of my favourite Avengers who don't have their own books (plus the Scarlet Whitch :P), so it seems like it should happen..

Except for Captain Marvel, this is pretty much all of my favourite Avengers who don't have their own books (plus the Scarlet Whitch :P), so it seems like it should happen..
I might have mentioned this somewhere before, but I thought it would be cool if Kelly Sue Deconnick wrote a an all-female Avengers Assemble arc. She's written Captain Marvel and Spider-Woman in her issues, and she had Monica appear in the Captain Marvel solo series.
I think Avengers Assemble mostly deals with fairly well known characters, as I think it started kind of as a series for new readers who like the Avengers film, but Wasp, She-Hulk and Scarlet Witch aren't exactly obscure.
If she wrote an arc with this team, and people liked it, maybe they could make it into its own series. We have all-female teams in Fearless Defenders and the upcoming X-Men, so Avengers seems like the next sensible choice. :)
@V_Scarlotte_Rose: yeah, I liked the first couple arcs of Captain Marvel's newest book, but I was ultimately put off by the art. I would hope an Avengers book like this would have someone a little more superhero-y on the art chores. But with a cast like this, I'd probably check it out either way.
