Infamous Monsters of Filmland: Part 2 of 4

Iron Man and Living Lightning allow Digger to escape from prison so he would lead them to the Night Shift's hideout, the Tower of Shadows. They walk in on the Night Shift and their captive teammates with Satannish standing over them. It is revealed that Satannish owns the Hangman's soul, and that he increased the powers of all of the Night Shift members. After a brief fight, the Night Shift and their entire base disappear, leaving the Avengers with no clues. Wonder Man and Scarlet Witch are still on the set of " The Demon that Devoured Hollywood," but they are attacked by the Night Shift. The Night Shift quickly capture Wonder Man and disappear yet again. Hangman reveals that he is in fact the original star of "The Demon that Devoured Hollywood," Jason Roland. The Hangman explains to Wonder Man how he had sold his soul for movie stardom, but went back on the deal. For his not following through with the deal, the monster makeup he was wearing became his real skin. After years of hiding out, Jason Roland once again called out to the demon Satannish. Satannish gave Hangman special powers and a second chance. Later Hangman and Wonder Man appear on TV announcing that they will star in a movie alongside the Night Shift, and no one can stop them.
