    Every member of the Avengers and the X-men are facing off against one another over the Phoenix Force's impending and long-awaited return to the Marvel Universe, an event that could easily quash a series of others that came before it with the shear epicness it could evoke.     It's OK, but it has a neat twist or two 0

    So the fights start to take place. Overall, the whole conversation between Cap and Cyclops seems a bit dumb. They're both being ridiculously unreasonable. I know the writers were going more for shade of grey than just having one side or the other be the bad guys, but it probably would have been a little better written if Cap had not come making demands. Still....the book has a couple nice twists. Two of them involve some characters who were featured in issue 0. Frankly, for one of them, I was wo...

    The fighting in this issue was pretty random and made little sense; specifically all the punch throwing in the background (Daredevil vs Magik, Black Widow vs Jubilee, etc). John Romita Jr's artwork was pretty weak.
