    Some more mutants?

Right off the top this is a really good issue, for me the best in this series yet. The writing is solid, Heinberg manages to tie in several story lines and groups into one great installment of this series. The art from the cover throughout this issue really bring this issue to life, really amazing work from Cheung and the color/inking team of Morales and Ponsor.

The story begins with what I thought to be another Wanda freakout but I was happily surprised to see her reign herself in with some assistance from Wiccan. The Ultrons and Kree were a non-entity to the story just providing an enemy other than Wanda to focus on. Wanda has regained her memory and powers but as Speed succinctly put if she would have to disappear before people looking for her find her and try to kill her. As if on cue the Avengers chime in and request/demand Wanda stay where she is. The interaction between Scott Lang and Jessica Jones (remember they had a thing in the past) was good and his surprise/pride with seeing Cassie using Pym particles as Stature was just sappy enough to be great without being over done.

This is where the story takes a more serious turn first with Beast asking if she could undo her spell and then Madrox, Strong Guy, Shatterstar and Rictor come into the store and provide a brief and even understated description of some of the aftermath of the decimation. Wanda then uses Rictor as a guinea pig to see if thee no more mutants spell can be undone and for Rictor it was successful. The apperance of the X-Men as the end gives us some idea of where the story is going with some attempt to restore mutant powers.

I do have a concern and that is this series has been good so far but with 3 issues left I am waiting for something to go wrong. I have a strong suspicion that the X-Men (include Wolverine in this camp too) are not just going to hold hands with everyone and sing Kumbaya now that mutant powers can be restored. I hope the good quality of this series continues and changes made such as Scott Lang's return and Wanda getting her memory back don't just disappear when the story ends.

Overall I would rate this this issue a 4.5 out of 5

This story encompasses all of the Marvel Universe. There are sixteen different characters that get to speak dialogue and many more that appear as cameos or get mentioned in dialogue. Characters from six different Marvel teams are involved in the story. This feels like an event comic without the setback of events and their tie-ins. Hawkeye's coy message has to be spelled out for Hank McCoy I was slightly worried that the pacing would get slow from here on in as prior to this issue we still had f...

      More Mutants! (SPOILERS) 0

OH. MY. GOD!  Well there it is ladies and gents.  The pay off we have been waiting for since the Avengers first Disassembled all wrapped up in a neat little bow.  Now bare with me, we've got a lot to cover here and I don't want to move to quickly...  The Good - We got a few really wonderful moments in this issue.   First, last issue we got Cassie rejoicing the return of her father but in this issue we got to watch him swell with pride to hear not only that his daughter is a superhero but "a good...
