    WHAT?! 2

THERE IS A SMALL SPOILERS SECTION IN THE the bad PART OF MY REVIEW. SORRY IF THAT'S THE CASE. I WILL NO LONGER USE THE SPOILERS HIDE THINGY CAUSE IT DOESN"T WORK WELL FOR ME I AM VERY VERY VERY SORRY!!! :(   The Story   We start off from last issue where the Scarlet Witch got her powers back. She goes on this lengthly tirade about why she did the things she did. She mystically summons some Kree warships and a small battalion of Ultron robots to help her commit suicide (dramatic, eh?). Hawkeye, J...

    More Mutants! (SPOILERS) 0

OH. MY. GOD!  Well there it is ladies and gents.  The pay off we have been waiting for since the Avengers first Disassembled all wrapped up in a neat little bow.  Now bare with me, we've got a lot to cover here and I don't want to move to quickly...  The Good - We got a few really wonderful moments in this issue.   First, last issue we got Cassie rejoicing the return of her father but in this issue we got to watch him swell with pride to hear not only that his daughter is a superhero but "a good...

    Some more mutants? 0

Right off the top this is a really good issue, for me the best in this series yet. The writing is solid, Heinberg manages to tie in several story lines and groups into one great installment of this series. The art from the cover throughout this issue really bring this issue to life, really amazing work from Cheung and the color/inking team of Morales and Ponsor.  The story begins with what I thought to be another Wanda freakout but I was happily surprised to see her reign herself in with some as...

What kind of mother doesn't even recognize her own son? 0

This story encompasses all of the Marvel Universe. There are sixteen different characters that get to speak dialogue and many more that appear as cameos or get mentioned in dialogue. Characters from six different Marvel teams are involved in the story. This feels like an event comic without the setback of events and their tie-ins. Hawkeye's coy message has to be spelled out for Hank McCoy I was slightly worried that the pacing would get slow from here on in as prior to this issue we still had f...

The Crusade for Restoring the Scarlet Witch 0

Don't kid yourself. This mini series is not really about the Young Avengers. It's about restoring the Scarlet Witch after ... well, you know.  If not before, this has become very evident in this issue, where the YA are really just observers. Whatever happens, happens centered around the Scarlet Witch and because of her.   As in the issues before, a whole lot of things are going on here (which I will not detail to keep this spoiler-free), even if some of the events could deal with a little less a...

    Flawless! 0

There is just something about the Young Avengers that makes this story freaking fantastic.  The art is stunning and the story is hitting all the right buttons.  You have a search for a long lost mother whose outcome may change the playing field for the Marvel U.  You have Avengers who want to stand beside Wanda and who want to take her out.  Wanda is being wonderfully written and like a true hero (who admits she made a horrible selfish mistake) wants nothing more than to take full responsibility...
