okay. I was hoping that they were a bit older thoough. I want Aang to be about 14, Sokka 16-17, and Katara 15-16. and Toph to be about 14

I liked the movie with Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson, which Shamalan directed. Unbreakable, i think it was. That movie is one of my favorites.

M. Night Shymalan is one if not my favorite creators in movies. I know if he does it it will recieve the appropriate attention to detail and character development.

But because It is not a creator owned work I don't know what his take will be.But at least he is an artist in the field, especially now when everything in hollywood is formulaic to get blockbuster dollars. And of course the audience either has low expectations or are shallow in what impresses them. I don't wanna say dumb buuuuuut...

I think it has promise and looks like it may not be bad, but really there is too much, especially along the lines of character developement. (Specifically with complex characters like Zuko and Toph) to fit into one movie.

I just hope they don't screw up Zuko because he is a really complex and awesome character, and as you very well may know I love my Avatar.
