Japanese title: Shōjo ga Mita Sekai -Torosuto-ku Kōbōsen (2)- (少女が見た世界 ―トロスト区攻防戦②―)

The "she" referred to in the title "The The World She Saw: Battle of Trost District, Part 2" is Mikasa. This episode tells her back story.

When Armin comes to, he is surrounded by Conny Springer, Christa Lenz and Ymir. Armin breaks into tears when Conny asks what happened to his squad. Ymir realizes that they're dead. Armin blames himself for failing to save Eren.

Elsewhere, a merchant tries to force a cargo wagon through the city gate, blocking the way for people to evacuate. The crowd is terrified when an abnormal titan charges at them. At the last minute, Mikasa slays it. Then she deals with the merchant. This makes her flashback to her own childhood experiences with greedy slavers.

Shocking 0

This episode tells Mikasa's back story - and it isn't pretty. Prior to now we've mostly only seen titan vs. human violence. This time there are a couple titans killed, but there are several humans killed by other humans, and it's one of the goriest episodes so far. "The World She Saw" refers to the violent fight for survival in a kill-or-be-killed world. Not for the feint of heart. ...
