    Taylor's review

The story is really really good. It depicts a constant and incredible rivalry between two time traveling immortals. One who's experiences has led him to believe that humanity is remediable and one who's experiences has led him to believe that it's not.

Both are fighting for two mutually exclusive 'Utopias' in the far future. One where humanity is enslaved by an iron overlord and the other where humanity is free to make it's own mistakes.

At the start of the story they have countless battles, each believing they can best the other. Over the eons they learn that both their powers come from the same source, and one could never defeat the other. It ends with them playing an impossibly long psychological game in which the one feels they can convince the other that his word view is correct.

We are left with the question "Who will wear the other down first?" Posed by trying to figure out which is the eagle and which is the mountain. All within 40 pages. I gave the comic to all of my friends because I wanted to know which they felt was which.

I still don't know which is which. I know which I think is which, but I don't know if I am right.

I think there might not be a right answer.
