The year is 2019, and it’s definitely the year of Asterix, with the celebration of the series’ 60th birthday ! Following the tradition, after an album that took place abroad, in Italia, this new adventure is set in the famous gaulish Village, and is going to be full of twists and turns.

Asterix and the Chieftain’s daughter is the result of Jean-Yves Ferri (scriptwriter) and Didier Conrad’s (illustrator) collaboration. The duo, always eager to imagine new adventures, enters once again the fabulous universe created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.

Prepare to be shaken-up with this fiery new story ! The daughter of the famous gaulish chieftain, Vercingetorix, tracked by the Romans, finds refuge in the Indomitables Village, the only place in occupied Gaul where she would be safe. And the presence of this peculiar teenager will cause many inter-generational upheavals !

Note: Papercutz only credits: translator: Joe Johnson, letterer: Bryan Senka, editors: Jeff Whitman and Jim Salicrup.
