If there's one thing comedian Patton Oswalt is it's a comic book fan. He makes numerous comic book references in his act and his CDs. Aside from that, he's an incredibly smart and well-spoken man. However, as you may know, their is that angry fanboy in all of us, and back in March. Mtv took some quotes from Patton's myspace blog, after he had enough with the constant complaints about Zack Synder's Watchmen, before the film had come out.

Zack Snyder STEPPED UP, motherf---ers.  Crack the tab on a frosty can of Go F--- Yourself and go see the movie.

It's been months since he went off like that and Mtv caught back up with him, in which he had this to say,

"Once the movie comes out and you have a feeling about your experience, that's fine. But I just got so, I guess, depressed," said Oswalt. "I am a big comic book fan. Are we always going to be represented as the people that rip into things before they see them and are proud to criticize things that we don't know anything about? Maybe 'Watchmen' sucked for some people, maybe it was great for some people, but you can't sit there and pass judgment before the thing comes out. That's so sad."

He makes a great point. We see it here a lot. Heck, I'm guilty of it sometimes. You see something you love, and you think the production company is about to ruin it. The best example of this is all the people that had a fit when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker. Everyone on the imdb forums saw red, and you know what? His performance ended up being phenomenal, regardless of his untimely death.

So maybe we should all take a chill pill when it comes to certain things being changed for the silver screen, even if it comes to Megan Fox.
