Would another reboot end the creativity above continuity approach? Would be somewhat pointless if you stick to that.

If this is another reboot I'll treat it like any of the others. Buy the books that have the creators I like on 'em.

Didn't the newest dc solicits have the issues #51? So the next month will be 52? With dc being so obsessed with the number 52, I guess it makes sense to reboot after issue 52.

Considering that the New 52 was at least the forth universal restart for DC was are people acting like the possibility of another reboot is a surprise, like at all?

Look... We just did the new 52 and from the early promises it seemed like they were gonna reboot... they sorta did... mostly didnt... If they are ACTUALLY going to start from the beginning of each hero... I am actually in. I actually really liked the Marvel Ultimate universe because it did just this, it allowed a point for newer comic fans (which I was at the time) to have a jumping in point that isnt loaded down with years of history that is impossible to catch up on (new 52 tried to sound like it was gonna do this but that was only kinda true, in that case it was more about what did and didnt happen).

TLDR: I think this has a chance to be good if done right (and if it is a reboot at all)

If this is a reboot than the difference between this reboot and the last is that this time it's needed badly.

So what do you call a re, re, re, re, re, re, re, reboot? I think the main reason they reboot these days is so that they won't have to count to high numbers when they number the issues. Instead of a reboot to boost sales how about a price drop?

Yeah honestly at this point DC need to do SOMETHING.... ANYTHING beacuse they are hemorrhaging readers and talent fast. Maybe a refresh done right this time? I doubt it will be a reboot but it will be something.

Hopefully that something involves the return of the Legion of Superheroes with Jonathan Hickman writing.

Ugh...I don't want a reboot or relaunch. I'm actually getting a little tired of #1's in general. I've slowly stepped away from Marvel for that reason, and I will most likely do so with DC. Gradually I find myself going towards Image and Valiant.

Eh, just keep continuity with new 52. Won't really trust purchasing many series if they're just what if or different universes.

That blue curtain looks...interesting. Almost like the picture's not a promotional but a still from a video. Maybe it's not a reboot but a new show?

Mixed feeling about this. I want to see DC doing better overall but I don't want to see most of the stuff I'm reading get cancelled for this. =/

Ok, if I am not mistaken, every major name DC has is currently still alive... minus Darkseid, who I believe Johns is brining back at the end of his story to return everything to roughly how they were... and not that I imagine he'd leave Lex in charge.And DC has proven hit or miss with their re-numberings some work and some don't and the DCYou wasn't announced like this. Not to mention I dont think Dan Geoff or Jim think the DCU is in such a bad shape they need to reboot it all.

So I suspect this rebirth is somekind of comeback from one of DC's imprints, most likely Wildstorm (because of Lee) or the long awaited Milestone.

I'll be impressed when there is a rebirth of the entire management at DC, starting with the two that sent out the tweets.

A Wildstorm imprint would be cool (especially if they bring back Gen-13) but I can't see it being much more popular than anything DC isn't already doing with Midnighter is performing.

If they do another reboot. Can we have Wonder Woman's original origin back in effect, and not the awful one Azzerello made. That and no more Superpoop x Wonder Woman crap either.
