Upcoming THUNDERBOLTS Cover Gets Risqué

Did they get Phil Noto for this specific issue or arc because his style goes well with romance comics, or is he replacing Dillon? I don't care about Elektra, and I think Frank is a more interesting character when he is completely detached, but this could be interesting, and I'm picking up Thunderbolts anyway. So I'll see how it goes.

ART looks better already, but it can't save this book from the horrible writing of Daniel WAY. Thanks for killing my hope and anticipation for this book way.

It's funny because they had a kid in an alternate universe. May have inspired this story.

Thanks so much for catching that. We posted the info we got from Marvel and they didn't credit the artist. We will fix it.

THunderbolts title is a joke, take it from someone who has wasted money on all the first variants excited for this title as well as the issue following.

I sold them already and made some good profit but still this title sucks...horrible art, boring story setup, and atrocious dialogue.

I'm dying a little more inside with this Marvel Now stuff. My hands are shaking and I'm losing vision in my left eye. Please tell me this is only a cover and nothing more.

@Babs I'm pretty sure that cover is done by Julian Totino Tedesco who also did some of the covers for Uncanny X-Force during Phil Noto's run. Notice the double-T signature.

At least Marvel realized the art was not doing it for most people. I really like the characters and concept of the book, but I couldnt commit to it because of the art. Noto's art is usually amazing, so I'll have to check back in on this book in awhile.

I love the cover!! Very sexy. But i think the hook up is a bit random and just thrown in there for the sake of being there, not because it'll be a great story..

I might be one of 7 people picking this book up in the US. Great cover.

@DarkKnightDetective: Wolverine and Storm are hooking up, as well as Superman and Wonder Woman. The trend is making the popular characters kiss face now.

According to Marvel's March 2013 Solicitations, Phil Noto is the artist starting in #7.

I am really looking forward to that. As far as the pairing, it's definitely unexpected and provocative!
