Best Poetic Description of Having to Fight Crime
The first story in this issue dealt with a married Daredevil and Karen Page. She suspects he's having an affair (with Typhoid Mary). It's almost as if he's making excuses about having to go out. He's very poetic about it.
Best Reason for a Dinosaur Attack
You would think a dinosaur attack would lead to nothing but bad things. If you watched Jurassic World, you know some good can come out of one. In the second story in this issue, we see how a dinosaur attack can be good for Iron Fist and Misty Knight.
Best Thing to do on a Date with Thor
Squirrel Girl wins a date with Thor. When his shirt gets ripped off, she does something that probably everyone would want to do. Right?
SECRET SIX #5
Best Thing You Probably Shouldn't Yell Out During a Barbecue
Who doesn't love a nice barbecue cook out in the backyard? When you're at one with the members of Secret Six, you'd probably want to be careful what you say.
STAR WARS #8
Best Indication You Might Want to Find Another Drinking Establishment
Luke Skywalker is trying to find a way to get to Coruscant. What better place than an intergalactic bar. But when you're greeted like this, you might want to rethink it.
BIZARRO #3
Best Display of Bizarro's Anatomy
I think this image speaks for itself. It's a good insight into how Bizarro's body works.
Best Reason Not to Steal Jimmy Olsen's Signal Watch
Jimmy decides it's finally time to call Superman. He then realizes his signal watch is gone. Turns out Riddler swiped it. It's bad news for Riddler when he checks it out later.
LOKI: AGENT OF ASGARD #17
Best Conversation Between a God and a God's God
This is sort of a who created who thing. Did the gods create those to worship them or did the people worshipping create the gods. But it's Loki at his finest and a bummer we have to say goodbye to this series.
BLACK CANARY #3
Best Fight During a Car Chase on Top of an RV
Black Canary isn't just part of a band singing at shows. There's some crazy fights and chases going on as a couple different groups of "people" are after one of the band members.
SECRET WARS JOURNAL #4
Best Fitting Homage Scene
I'm sure everyone will recognize the scene. It makes sense with the different domains on Battleworld. Even though we've seen this moment recreated many many times, I still enjoy seeing it done.
ARCHIE #2
Best Reason to be Careful Waxing the Floors at a Senior Center
Archie really wants a job so he can make some money, mainly to fix up his car. We see several attempts at trying to keep one in this issue.
HOWARD THE HUMAN #1
Best Things to Make a Story Better
Howard the Human is in a bit of a jam. He owes some people money and has a few people threatening his life. He's describing his tale of the events that lead up to where we came in to other members in a bar and it's pointed out what makes a story even better.
A blind mouse and ninja monkeys. Doesn't that make you want to hear the whole story?
DOOMED #3
Strangest Declaration
We've seen and heard many weird sayings and exclamations from comic book characters. "Great Caesar's Ghost!" "Imperius Rex!" "By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth!" In DOOMED this week, we hear a strange on about Mars.
WEIRDWORLD #3
Best Crazy Map
I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time we've seen a wacky map like this in this series. Thank goodness we don't have to try to follow one like this. I'm not sure if I'd want to go to 'Weirdworld.'
TEEN TITANS GO! #11
Best Reason Cyborg Shouldn't Grow a Mustache
Cyborg is excited when he gets a few bits of hair growing on his face. Raven doesn't quite agree and pretty much the H.I.V.E. F.I.V.E. agree with her. Raven tries telling him to shave and it looks like he should've listened.
RAT QUEENS #11
Best Reason Not to Eat an Entire Bag of Candy
Hopefully you would never eat an entire bag of candy. You sure don't want this to happen.
GUARDIANS TEAM-UP #10
Best Saying to Have Embroidered on a Wall Decoration Thingy
Deadpool and Rocket have teamed up. Long story. They end up in one of Cable's places and head for his weapons cache. Looks like Deadpool made a wrong turn and they ended up in wardrobe. Notice the saying on the wall.
