Did you see the Superbowl TV spot for The Avengers yesterday? We even posted the extended cut of the trailer this morning. If you're a collector of Minimates from Diamond Select Toys, you're going to want to add these figures to your collection.
This Spring, Diamond Select Toys is releasing two assortments based on The Avengers. One will be available exclusively at Toys "R" Us stores and toysrus.com, and the other only at comic book shops and specialty stores. They will arrive in late April/early May, just in time for the movie's release.
The Avengers Movie assortments (Toys "R" Us/toysrus.com) will include:

- Iron Man MK7 & Hulk
- Hawkeye & Black Widow (exclusive)
- Loki & Nick Fury (exclusive)
Marvel Minimates Wave 45 (Specialty stores/comic shops) will include:
- Captain America & Thor

- REDACTED & REDACTED (exclusive)
- Maria Hill & REDACTED (short-packed exclusive)
What's up with "REDACTED"? Diamond Select is holding back who the mysterious Avengers foes will be in Wave 45. They won't reveal the names or show them because they don't want us to get spoiled. They do say that once we see the movie, we won't want to miss out on getting them.
