Is the show too silly? That's what Young Justice thinks.
I seem to recall someone saying something about Teen Titans Go being too silly. Looks like that will be the topic of discussion next week in the "Let's Get Serious" episode, which includes Young Justice members! The episode airs Thursday, February 26 at 6:00/5:00 Central, on Cartoon Network.
After Young Justice easily takes out the HIVE while the other Titans make silly jokes, Robin decides the team needs to get serious.

I understand having sillier versions of the characters for kids, but aside from the costumes, these characters in TTG seem to have nothing to do with the characters they are based on.
Wow, its like Aqualad just summed up everything wrong with Teen Titans Go
Yes and while this is meant to be goofy. They continue to insult Young Justice after it is already passed. Im still bummed YJ isnt in the multiverse of DC-they included the celebrity young justice earth instead where they aren't heroes.
It's not that the show is a "comedy", and I use that term as loosely as humanly possible, it's that in EVERY single episode they mock, belittle, or down right make superheroes look like complete and total jackasses and that the world would be better off if they DIDN'T exist.... I COULD READ GARTH ENNIS' "THE BOYS" IF I WANTED TO SEE A UNIVERSE LIKE THAT!!!

and this is what I'm talking about when I say, people are too serious
@teerack: DC is the one making the show. The ones theyre making fun of are all the people who bashed Teen Titans Go once Young Justice got canceled simple as that.
@fuzzylittlerodent: comicvine has been pretty glitchy lately, so a bunch of people decided to edit the deer that pops up(sometimes) when the page doesn't load right, and make them our av's as a form of protest/asking them to fix it
This show has grown on me so much. Maybe even one of my favorites. I know a lot of people are still sore about the loss of Young Justice and the original Teen Titans cartoon (naturally of course...I mean who isn't), but Teen Titans Go has really come into it's own I think. It's got style and humor and when that's the whole point of the show they pretty much nail in my opinion.

@teerack: I understand what it means quite well. But what you said is wrong. They arent making fun of any supposed "war on fun" they're making fun of a very specific subject here.
@dagmar_merrill: As a fan of traditional superheroes? I didn't care for The Boys. I get why people LIKE it, it does sell a very interesting idea. That a majority of superheroes ARE assholes and they need someone to police them.... It's an interesting take, but ultimately? I just couldn't get behind it and a lot of the stuff in it left a bad taste in my mouth.
@noj: No I didn't say it wrong, you just don't get what I'm saying. If you don't know what I'm referring to when I say war on fun, then maybe the best thing to do is not reply to me like you know what I'm talking about.
Teen Titans Go! Isn't my cup of tea but if it is really funny then leave it alone... That said D.C. needs to bring back Young Justice, Legion Of Superheroes, and have the original Teen Titans. Yes two Teen Titans shows! Now I want a NEW Justice League series featuring The New 52 Versions of them... Maybe even another series for the rest of the D.C. Universe
@teerack: I know exactly what your talking about. The dumb idea that DC gets rid of any so called "fun" from its books and focuses too much on darker storylines.

Yeah...
Are you having a stroke or something? Why are you trying to disagree with me xD They are making fun of the concept that you just explained.
