No surprise DC is a failure with their movies. Will Smith as Deadshot... lol...

Leto as the Joker is cool. He did a pretty f*cked up character in Requiem for a Dream.

But yeah... Joker in a Suicide Squad movie... meh

Hopefully this movie doesn't become allllll about fricken Will Smith. Remember, D'jango in DJANGO Unchained wasn't big enough for him, even. He had the gall to ask QUENTIN TARANTINO to revise the script so he was somehow more prominent than the titular character. Guess he learned his lesson when Jaime Foxx killed it and knocked it out of the park. And with an Oscar winner playing the Joker? Good fricken luck trying to snuff out him for top billing!

Smith could be amazing or he could be terrible as Deadshot, couldn't care less about his skin colour, but not sure if he will get the attitude right. Definitely willing to give him a chance. Also Leto is the best choice I can imagine for Joker (although I would've preferred a movie without him).

All 3 actresses being considered for Waller are literally the three I've suggested, any one of them would kill it. That being said i'd go with Oprah, she's a woman you wouldn't want to f*ck with.

WB has killed my excitement for this movie with Will Smith playing one of my favorite characters and for adding Joker to the movie

I would have like to see Bronze Tiger instead of Flagg. I am also expecting to see the New 52 versión of Amanda Waller.

I see what you're getting at but Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper are HARDLY lesser known actors.

Let's not forget Josh Brolin, Glenn Close, Djimon Hounsou and Benicio Del Toro.

Not really convinced about Will Smith as Deadshot, I can't picture him as the character, specially after watching assault on arkham, they showed how awesome he can be, but let's hope for the best.

Lol Will Smith did not ruin After Earth, his kid did. Well, the movie was lame regardless, but any acting faults rested solely on Jadens shoulders, not Wills. And, Will Smith doesn't only play funny guys. He has his share of serious roles like Seven Pounds, Ali, and The Pursuit of Happiness. So, while his role of Deadshot may be super left field, I don't think you're correct about him not being able to play the role. He's a versatile actor man.

Love all the castings except Will Smith. I don't hate it, but it's just a little weird. Not really complaining though. All the other choices are perfect.

Solid cast. Love Joker and Harley casting, I believe Will Smith can pull off Deadshot, he is a great actor, I was hoping Hardy would play Deadshot or DS but I'm fine with him as Flagg, he can steal the show no matter what character he's playing.

But Will Smith. Gaah I dislike Smith so much. Cant name a single Smith movie I like. Dont care about race... I'd rather it be Jamie Foxx or Denzel or even that guy from Lost... Anyone but Smith.

And I never like Harely in Suicide Squad, even in the comics.

But never say never, I can only hope the film will be better than it reads on paper. Its not like I wont go see this movie because I certainly will...

Smith was terrible in After Earth. EVERYONE was terrible in After Earth. And while yeah he was good in Pursuit of Happiness, Seven Pounds was bad and I think most would agree that Smith trying to pursue more serious roles was generally a bad move.

Never read a Suicide Squad comic, but when I read Tom Hardy's name I got excited thinking he'd be reprising his role as Bane. I gotta admit with the actors announced WB has peaked my inrerest, but I don't have a lot of confidence in the studio and the direction they are taking their new movies yet.

Plot of the story: The suicide squad has to hunt down and capture the joker and return him to Arkham Asylum.

All sound like good choices except Will Smith I am seriously perplexed by that decision but I Hope it pay off well, also this was perfect time to put CCH Pounder as Amanda Waller I can't stop loling at the idea of Oprah as Waller.

Glad to see Leto and Robbie as the couple of chaos, and having Tom Hardy back in the DCU is cool as well. I wanted Will Smith to play Black Manta but I'm sure he can pull off Deadshot.

This movie is going to be DC's Guardians or Ant-Man, where even a lot of comics fans have no idea who some of these characters are (myself included), let alone the general public. It will be interesting to see how it fares. Having a solid director like Ayer is a good sign though.
