Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV Spot #1 "Same Eyes"

There's some more bits of new footage here!

There's a new TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. There's a bit of new footage contained in the 30 second spot. Some may be choosing to avoid these TV spots but for those that can't get enough, here you go.

There may be spoilers below.

So what is Maz Kanata (played by Lupita Nyong’o) talking about? She's "lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people." Does that mean Rey is connected to someone we know? There is a rumor/spoiler seen on a product that could reveal another certain character's connection to others HERE. Hopefully that's just an error in the description since it'd be too much of a coincidence.

This commercial made it kinda obvious that she is a descendant of anakin.

To be honest I DO hope that Rey is the sequel trilogy new Skywalker. Since it was already confirmed that the main films are about the Skywalkers.

I just can't shake the feeling that this movie is going to be bad.

I hope I'm 100% wrong of course.

Yeah, they are practically throwing it in our face at this point that Han + Leia = Rey.

I'm pretty confident that Luke + ? = Kylo too.

@truemarvel: I do believe Rey is LIKELY a Skywalker BUT JJ Abrams is directing this movie. It could easily be clever editing in order to manipulate people's expectations. This teaser and the international trailer really hammer home that she is a Skywalker but it is only because it is so obvious that I don't know that it will happen that way. We shall see in December.

It's gonna be hard to pay attention, when Rey is going to steal every scene just by being gorgeous.

Sidenote: The name Rey means 'King' in Latin. It is also used as a surname commonly, so i suspect we will learn her true full name somewhere in the flick.

I don't think she's a skywalker. I think Lupita was saying how Kyle Ren may possibly have the same eyes as Anakin---they went through so much pain they turn to the dark side in order to bring someone back possibly.

I also think she was saying that all 4 of the new characters are in some way a spitting image of past characters
