Back in April, Sony revealed that there's a whole new world of Spider-Man headed to theaters, and one of the many films announced was an animated feature. According to Variety, the animated film, set originally to come out on July 18, 2018 is now scheduled to be released on December 21, 2018.
The animated film will be written and produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller from The LEGO Movie. In addition, a live-action reboot featuring Spider-Man will hit theaters on July 28, 2017, featuring Tom Holland as Peter Parker.
The untitled animated Spider-Man film will be in theaters on December 21, 2018.
