This doesn't seem like a new story line to me. But hopefully its better than the last.

I haven't caught up with this book, but Some jagoff on another site told me this book was anti African. Is this true or what?

So, the Crew is a story arc and not a new series/mini? Uhmmmm a bit disappointed... but anyway, interested :)

@nerevarine_11: I'm Jamaican American mixed. Nothing in this story shows Anti-African. To be honest this is KINDA cool they are basically the Black Avengers. This is a good book so far.

@regulatorjoe: Yes this is Main Continuity. Shuri is KINDA but not really. She's dead, but she's not dead.......*How can I explain this* Um she's on a spiritual Journey. Her soul isn't in her body so yes she's dead, but kinda in Wakandan Limbo sort to speak.

I kind of wish they were bringing back the all-old all-traditional Crew. But a superhero team up should bring a lot of fun to this book regardless.

This will be a hit or miss, no in between.

I thought panther hated storm now. Did they make up?

This is a tricky one and confusing. They hated each other then they randomly made up then they ignored each other.

BUT since the NEW Universe being remade they both don't have an issue with each other. Their relationship now is this:

You know how after a break up you go to a party and you just so happen to see your Ex there. And your Ex does NOTHING, but stare at you and when you look there way they act like YOUR not important to them............that's T'challa.

I like what I've seen so far, but it is strange that Black Panthers back up was all black characters....

Imagine if DC did something like this? Cyborg, Vixen and John Stewart?

I wouldn't consider them friends, but in this NEW Universe they still are close friends. And they both are protective of Wakanda.

Coates is trying too hard to be phylosophical and interesting with his stories and so far it's not working one bit. The book is boring and as much as I want to read about Black Panther I was forced to drop this book because of it;s mediocrity.

@tdk_1997: This issue seems like it could be the best one yet.

The preview isn't promissing enough to make me buy it. I especially hate how much Marvel are trying to force Luke Cage and Misty Knight on us lately. They should just get it that neither character is as interesting as they think they are.

Black Panther and Storm should get back together.

This is the only marvel title I'm reading and it seems to be lacking.

When Storm was with T'challa, she was written more well than she is now. I agree it could give her more character development.

By the way, why do you hate the idea?

@tdk_1997: Luke cage and misty knight are in one series each. That's not forcing. Then you have a Luke cage mini series. He just had a Netflix series. He's just now become popular. Marvel hasn't done anything serious with him yet. I consider forcing on the level of deadpool titles. That's forcing

I am not saying that the push for Luke began recently. Marvel, and especially Bendis, have been pushing him down our throats since 2005.

Looks great. I'm excited to see if "The Crew" because a legit super team or if it's just something they're putting together in this book. I love me some Misty Knight & I'm glad they're putting Storm near Black Panther again. I hate whoever broke up the greatest black couple in comics. If Reed & Sue can make it thru all the bs they've put up with I don't understand how something like Civil War 1 can split up the powerhouse of Black Panther & Storm. Although if they do get back togetehr I hope their relationship is developed and worked out in depth.

@inglewoodian: Misty Knight not in particular but Cage has been a force like that since Bendis started handling him. Each one of his appearances since 2004-2005 has to be somehow an indication that he's a bad ass character that we should all love. But when you look at things with an onjective eye you see that he might be a character with potential but the writer should do more than just write him like a bad ass, he should change his rogues gallery and give him some more personal development, something more than the baby. That's why I have a problem with Luke.

For Deadpool I agree, same goes for Harley Quinn, but why Kyle?

@tdk_1997: I can see what you're saying I just don't fully agree. Hell yes he needs an updated rogues gallery for sure. He needs to face a serious threat & deal with some real live drama for sure. Have his baby kidnapped or something lol I personally like Cage though perhaps its because of the potential there but idk I think he's cool just like you said a writer hasn't fully fleshed him out just yet. When it comes to Kyle Rayner I just don't like him at all. He's annoying & everything they do with him at DC seems like they are just trying to make him cool & attractive when he's even less entertaining then Guy Gardner. I feel like John Stewart deserved to be where he is but is overlooked and just made to be "racial diversity" in the comics. John Stewart is used as the Affirmative Action member of the GL Core but he could be so much more.

I agree. Cage has the potential to be a good character but the right writer should pick him up and upgrade his rogues gallery and his stories a little bit. Because it seems Marvel are trying to stick way too hard with the 70's vision they have of the character and that doesn't leave him any room to improve, to become modern in a sense.

Everyone's entitles to their own opinion I guess.The period right after the creation of Kyle people weren't really happy with him appearing in all of those books but in my opinion he grew a lot. He became a well developed character with good history and at times I even wonder who's my favorite Lantern, is it him or Hal.
