@ecstaticgrace: Well that's what Detective comics has been, a GCPD book. Even before Bat-Mech it put much more spotlight on Gotham's Police force.

Okay this concept of Bruce being a hippie and Jim Gordon as Robo-Batman-Cop has gone on long enough. The Gordon storyline with Mr. Bloom is not very interesting to me (although the dialogue, character banter, and "big concepts/themes" that Snyder throws in are great as usual). There was nothing in the previous issue that made Mr. Bloom a more compelling character. I don't understand how he and Gordon are linked.

When this story started, Snyder gave an interview and compared this present run to Superior Spiderman. I disagree because Superior Spiderman showed a cooler, more interesting version of Spidey. This version of Batman is not cooler or more interesting. The Spidey change was done because Peter Parker was getting stale. Bruce Wayne as Batman was not getting stale in any way.

Had a nice reference to a certain Batman Beyond baddie.

I'm getting tired of both Tynion and Snyder in general.

Tynion is a good writer mostly imo,I liked his work on Talon,the villains month issues he wrote,the Batman back ups and the 2 Batman annuals, Red Hood has been his only real misfire. He's Snyder done right in many ways, however he's also Snyder gone wrong when it comes to ideas, he should step out of the box instead of being Snyder's sidekick.

@entropy_aegis: Maybe, but to be honest, if he wasn't Snyder's student turned sidekick, he probably wouldn't have even gotten to write as many stories as he did.
