I actually kind of like that story and this still made me laugh.

That's something you'd have to ask the writer.

I'd laugh if this Gwen, who's from the 70 is racist and is not cool with Spider Gwen kissing Miles.

@g2_: Obviously, that Gwen was a clone. Norman being the rich BJORKER that he is, bought one form the jackal. Real Gwen turn him down thus he killed her. Or pehaps, he never killed her at all. There too many Gwen Clone running around, the original source must be somwhere.

This could be a really intriguing comic to read. The philosophical debate about whether or not she really is Gwen returned from the dead, because she's a clone with all of the memories intact. That's an incredibly interesting question. It'd be interesting to see if they discuss the idea of a soul or spirit; or if they reduce the whole of what makes an individual a person to the physical body plus memories.

That clone identity crisis is already overdone in spiderman even ultimate spiderman already had this exact same story.

@druzzie: I always preferred the explanation that the children were simply clones made from a mixture of Gwen's and Osborne's DNA and the one night stand was a made-up story to screw with Peter.

But your explanation is also really good. It makes Osborne even more horrible.

@bluehope: That could be. I can't remember a comic taking on this philosophical discussion about clone's identity as the person. That's the part that I find intriguing. And even if it was tackled already; the question is interesting enough to be discussed again (in my opinion).

Nah, I'd like to ignore Sins Past like everyone else, but that one doesn't work.Osborn wasn't the one who told Peter about it; Gwen directly told MJ who told Peter. It was sex, she got pregnant. . . Just like I got to accept that Reed went on along with Stark plans in Civil War, Spider-Man fans have to accept Gwen Stacy's first time was with The Green Goblin.

Or, Gwen been a clone this whole time since Warren met her. Thus retconning a lot of the relationship between Gwen and Peter. Perhaps even give them a real chance!

how is killing Gwen a mistake

The only reason Gwen has importance is because of the love triangle stuff with MJ and Peter and that she died. Her not liking Spider-Man was nothing new Betty Brant hated Spider-Man too when she was a love interest for Pete, so she really wasn't that interesting to begin with. She should have stayed dead especially since the defining thing about her whenever she gets brought up is her death at the bridge.
