Onslaught Unleashed: February 2011

I don't know about art by FiliPe Andrade. He might be too artistic for Onslaught

Didn't Onslaught just return to very little fanfare? Guess the House of Ideas didn't get enough. I hope it turns out good.

It seems that this is a Secret Avengers and Young Allies will be teaming up. 
I'm thinking it might tie into the 7th issue of Young Avengers that will never seen print, since the cover is drawn by Humberto Ramos just as this one, plus on the cover of the Young Allies Steve Rogers was supposed to make an appearance.
Yet I'm glad that the (YA) team still exists even though the book was canceled.

Does this mean Juggernaut will be drop kicked to the moon ?

It looks like a crossover between the young allies and the secret avengers :/

I have no frame of reference for Onslaught since i never read anything with him in it. 
 
Who's the blonde with the white suit and orange belt?  Almost looks like a Heatwave costume except she has a gun.  Is it supposed to be Sharon Carter?

Oh please, spare me that return. Onslaught was an awesome villain the first time, I agree, but I certainly needed no return after that and especially not this. The concept is dead. Let a good character rest in peace. Whenever they don't have any ideas or need a bridge to something they dig out Onslaught again.

Is the original Onslaught still in MARVEL 616 continuity, or have they completely 100% retconned that?

This is like the herpes of the Marvel U. They're like hey man you know how the Sentry, Rulk, and Brand New Day were really great ideas let's bring back Onslaught!

The last Onslaught mini was horrible, so that plus Ramos makes me lukewarm towards this, even though I love the Secret Avengers.

Not sure. Meh. I'm not up to date with the Onslaught story and that horrific Heroes Reborn series. What were Marvel thinking?

What reason do they have to bring him back.  The original idea had merit to it.  I'm not sure how him coming back makes sense.

I'd probably be more interested if it was Ramos doing the interior art aswell. 
Because I am just a sucker when it comes to him.

Onslaught is the first story arc I remember reading parts of as a kid. I don't know how I feel about him coming back, to be honest.

I never read the original Onslaught but Sean McKeever is writing this so it sounds interesting.

so I'm hoping that they retcon Onslaught Reborn out of existence and this turns out to be really freaking awesome...also I wish that Huberto Ramos was doing a LOT more interior work

WHY?  Why can't they just let him stay dead?  Yeah Onslaught was cool the first time around, but what's the point of bringing him back?  The Big 2 need to let characters stay dead, and come up with new ideas instead of rehashing the same old ones.

Onslaught should stay dead. Nice event back in the 90's, but good events shouldn't be repeated over and over again, or they feel less unique and more mundane.

from what I've read of him, he sounds pretty cool.  I'm a fairly new reader, so haven't read anything with him in it.  I'm looking forward to this

I have no problem with Onslaught coming back, as long as it is done right. The 'Onslaught Reborn' mini from a few years back looked so bad I couldnt even pick it up even though I loved the first Onslaught saga. I would hope that Xavier and Magnus are involved with this

When I got back into the full swing of comics, the Onslaught Sage is what I was reading. So, call me crazy, but I'm excited about this.

Again? Onslaught Reborn was MEH and even the Onslaught Event was hit-and-miss (mostly okay) but.... Onslaught AGAIN? 3rd Times the charm to take over the universe?

if its written well i have no problem with it, if not, then only bring him back when you have another necrosha, or something similar
