If you're an Instagram user, you know everything is about square images. That's changing today. Instagram is rolling out the option to allow users to upload landscape pics from their phones into the app. That means you don't have to worry about cropping your image into a square.
To kick things off, a prime example can be seen via the Star Wars Instagram account with a new clip showing some exclusive content.
The new layout option is said to be rolling out all iOS and Android users throughout the day.
For non-Instagram users, the new layout option isn't a big deal. But if you're a Star Wars fan, you can enjoy the footage. You'll notice this is the first time we see Finn (John Boyega) with a lightsaber. The concept art for the costumes and props (shown HERE from Star Wars Celebration) showed him with a lightsaber.
