New Firestorm Revealed in 'The Flash' Poster, Robbie Amell Returns

I really hope Ronnie's not dead... We spent part of last season simply trying to find him and then they just kill him off again at the end of the season? I get they were going for the emotional impact, but taking a character that the other characters already thought was dead throughout the season, bringing him back a few episodes, and then just killing him off again... That just felt like a cheap death to me.

Thankfully, since this is a comic book TV show and because we never saw Ronnie's body, it's easy to believe that he didn't actually die but ended up on an alternate Earth, possibly Earth 2.

This is why I don't like flash. They've killed off half his rogues, and then they kill off Ronnie to make room for a new, original firestorm even tho Jason rusch has appeared in the show. Stop it.

I want him back, no offense to the new guy but he needs to go

Since Amell already stated he'll be back, it makes me think they're going to go for the more modern spin on Firestorm with Ronnie and this new guy making the composite being in the end. Amell was also gonna be Firestorm in LoT, though Amell was never on the cast list like the guy playing Stein has always been. This could just be more of a lead-in to that. Stein will take a backseat to heroics himself and be the scientist supreme when folks like the Atom are already in the field.

Firestorm really needs a little more of a suit when joined together. I thought his pullover or whatever was supposed to be partially red but it always appears solid black... and SOMEBODY needs to mention in the show how Firestorm's harness looks like the door to the old metahuman vault [since Iron Heights can take in metas now].

Ok good, I really would hate to see Ronnie gone for good. Plus this means double the Firestorm! :)

I was going to watch the show for Ronnie I mean to me that is Fire Storm.

Maybe some of us just like to see the character we love in the comics to some degree on the screen.

Not really a huge leap of logic. I did not see Ronnie die in the show and for somebody that can go back and fourth in time with little effort you just seem to think he is some light weight whom should be called kid flash not The Flash. Who knows over all time will tell like most people you just watch and hope for the best.

Just realized something, what if Caitlyn from Earth 2 is Killer Frost? It would make sense that they would go that route instead of making her evil.

@arthurkerr: So I take it based on you comment that you haven't actually seen season one because if you had you would know that time travel is not a thing that Barry can just do. Of the three times we have seen him do it 2 were accidents and one was under very specific planned circumstances and almost lead to the destruction of the planet. After a traumatic event like that there is no way that the Barry we know from this show would attempt time travel again anytime soon.

@zackattack93: They killed off Ronnie because Robbie got a staring role in the new X-Files show, in that sense it was not the decision of the show runners or writers to kill him off.

@mangakid1995: because I don't recall anyone named Jackson being firestorm. I don't understand why they aren't using Jason. While I do like sara I'm not a fan of original characters.

The only reason Robbie Ammel has the part to come back to is because he failed in another Greg Berlanti show and now he is on this Greg Berlanti show which happens to star his cousin Stephen Ammell.What do you call it when a homosexual has the hots for two men related to one another (1st cousins) to be exact? And keeps hiring them in his shows. It's kinda like nepotism but not. Whatever it's called it's pathetic.

I was hoping to catch up on some of the shows but its just got to Netflix.

maybe I will buy the dvds.

In most part I will keep and eye open to see how they hand one of my favorite character of Fire Storm.

Will they do him justice or not?

I'm not a fan of Robbie Amell is an actor, Drameh is a hell of a lot better as far as I'm concerned so no complaints from me.

Attack the Block is amazing, by the way.
