New Faces Revealed in NYCC 2015 Sizzle Reel for The Flash

I was looking forward to this series, but I'm not thrilled with the trailer. I'm probably in a minority, but I think Zoom's voice sounds stupid, especially as they made such a big thing about the casting. They also said they wanted to make Zoom's suit look more organic, with the audience unable to tell where the suit started and the man ended. In actuality it's Barry's suit but blue, and with a Halloween style mask instead of the usual cowl. I was hoping for something more akin to Daniel West's suit, as implied by the description (although I knew the suit was going to be blue, the colour's no biggie). Zoom doesn't seem as compelling as Professor Zoom from last series, because from what I can tell his identity is going to be even more of a mystery, and certainly won't be a direct copy of Hunter Zolomon's story from the comics. The more I think of it, the more an evil Earth 2 Barry feels tiresome. It's been kinda done with the recent Blue Barry from the New 52 comics, and also in the Walter West Dark Flash from Wally's run. Although I enjoyed these comics, because I read them both recently, I'd want something a bit more. An Earth 2 Eobard Thawne would be the worst identity they could give to Zoom, I'd find it a total disappointment. I'd be most interested if Zoom was Henry Allen, Eddie Thawne, or a Cobalt Blue controlled speedster like in 'Chain Lightning'. I'd earlier suggested that Zoom could be a Cobalt Blue controlled Jay Garrick, a bit like in 'Chain Lightning' , although this trailer's fight between Jay and Zoom makes this unlikely (although not impossible). I suppose it could be a time travelling Jay Garrick, or in fact Earth 1's Jay in the same way we saw Earth 1's Al Rothstein. Another idea would be for Zoom to be Jonny Quick (a combination of Jesse's dad and the unrelated Earth 3 evil speedster), as we will be seeing Jesse at some point. Could Zoom just be the Flash of Earth 3?

Okay Martin getting blue flames while awesome worries me as with the black eyes he looks like he is either losing control of his side of Firestorm or he is gaining a power boost and with great power must come great evil!

Awesome trailer cannot wait for S2. Today in Central City, Oliver Queen was believed to be attacked by the criminal known as Heatwave, police cannot yet confirm but we do know the millionaire was taken to the hospital due to server BURNS! (I am not sorry.)

That last bit with GA had me heavily smiling :)

Hmm. Zoom looks kinda ehhhh. Everything else looks cool though. Hoping Garrick isn't powerless or something in Barry's world. Also, 10/10 for that moment with Barry and Ollie at the end.

Jay Garrick looks amazing ! But does he not have his powers on Earth 1? Hope he makes a Justice Society reference.

They introduced Wildcat in Arrow back in S2, Atom Smasher was just in The Flash recently (here's hoping that he didn't die), Jay Garrick is in town, and they're bringing in Hawkman and Hawkgirl later on in the season. We did get to see the Helmet of Fate in the first episode of Constantine and Spectre appearing later on in that show and since Constantine is showing up on Arrow (not sure but I'm assuming that Constantine, Flash, and Arrow are all a shared universe now), I'm thinking that they might be bringing them in also? I don't know, that's just kinda my theory I guess

actually I like this Zoom , I mean people still get confused with Thawne since their costumes are so similar , whats wrong with a grey suit with blue lightning? I mean its not like Zoom runs fast , he just manipulates time

Super Huge Golden Age Super Hero fan. I was on my toes when they announced Jay Garrick. Love that they make it to DC's TV shows, since seeing Dr Fate, Hawkman and Wildcat (could have done better on his costume. Its nice that DC TV shows haven't forgotten DC comics Golden Age legacies or Mystery Men. I'm a huge Mr Terrific 2 fan and I'm afraid they are going to mess this character up on the Arrow. Anyways Can't wait till tomorrow and Flash of two worlds debuts.

Calling it now, this Zoom is Earth 3 Barry.

your thinking of shiera hall , the pre 52 version of hawkgirl , now new 52 uses Kendra Saunders who is gonna hook up with Hawkman , Carter Hall? (kinda confused what version their using)

@birdman400: the cartoon was the Thanagarian Shayera Hol. Legends of Tomorrow looks like it might be following Kendra Saunder's pre-new 52 story while basing her appearance off of Earth-2 Kendra.

That's supposed to be Zoom, he might as well be Black Flash .

going with alternate/evil Barry

The Zoom suit definitely does NOT look like Barry, the only thing all speedsters share is the headshape, similar lightning ears etc otherwise different colors, texture etc

His face looks similar (Zoom I mean) to Black Racer or Death/Black Flash if anything....I don't think it looks anything like Barry though.

Looks awesome, his voice is surprisingly better then I expected. It's modified yet understandable, I actually had trouble understanding RF's voice when he vibrated(when they modded it) at times.

I don't think it'll be Earth 2 Barry, I think Zoom will be A. Eobard Thawne Earth 2, B. Wally West C. Someone new all together, possibly a demon of the speed force inspired by Death/Black Flash

Other possibilities but unlikely could be Earth 2 Eddie Thawne, Earth 2 Barry(evil version) could be Cobalt Blue from Earth 2 where perhaps that Earth's Allen family had twins like originally. Could be Hunter Zolomon from Earth 2 which would be funny because if this happened he'd merely look different and have different backstory for the show but would surprise everyone since people think it's Evil Barry or Thawne rom E2 etc
