The moment we've been waiting for has finally arrived. May is the month we find out what shows are returning in the fall and which will be saying goodbye. With Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, there's been some speculation whether or not both would be returning.
While ratings for Agent Carter weren't as great as the studio would have liked it will be back for a second season. Agents of SHIELD hasn't been as huge as the Marvel Studios films but it has been consistent with the ratings, especially after the DVR numbers are included.
There's also the rumored SHIELD spin-off possibly starring Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as well as another 'mystery project' being developed by John Ridley only described as "reinventing an existing superhero character."
Next Tuesday, May 12, is the two-hour season finale for Agents of SHIELD. Things are definitely heating up with the coming war between SHIELD and the Inhumans. You won't want to miss it.
Looks like we can continue to count on more Marvel characters coming to the big and small screen in the near future.
Update
Some reports are saying the Palicki and Blood spin off is dead. Nothing official on that has been released.
