Marvel Comics Previews: 10/7/15

Just secret Wars for me. I doubt that I will read any of the ANAD books before the event ends. I have been thoroughly enjoying it and really don't want to see the new Universe until this one ends.

FINALLY another issue of Secret Wars. How long has it been since #5, a month and a half? I seriously doubt issue 9 will be out by the end of the year.

Anyway, Secret Wars is probably my only buy, but I'm considering getting Shattered Empire. So hyped for TFA!

Maybe Avengers #0 and maybe Dr Strange.

Not sure if I'm gonna read the post secret wars stuff until I've finished the current secret wars stuff. Will be difficult to just let Spider Man #1 sit there for possibly months before reading. I like Secret Wars but they gotta get there timing together. Brutal!!

Shattered Empire and Lando are great so far, as is Groot. And Secret Wars, of course, but can we maybe expedite the releases a little bit? You'd think for an event like this Marvel would make sure to have their house in order.

Guess it's just another challenge. Picking up ANAD issues and not reading them until Secret Wars finishes. I want those first releases.

Because Secret Wars keeps being pushed back. We have pre SW, SW and post SW titles all coming out at the same time.

@drellassassin: not like they haven't had enough time tho its been what a month and a half since the last secret wars? what are they drawing this up a week before its due?

After 2 or 3 weeks of literally nothing, this week is huge.

Man, I have been saying it for months, The SW delays are KILLING me...! So its so hard to get hyped about the new direction as I am waiting for the old version is still unanswered lol

So we have 2 more months of this secret wars garbage? This is more painful than my last prostate exam, and at least my doctor gave me a kiss on the back of the neck when he was done. Marvel just takes your money and expects you to thank them for the violation.

It takes artists usually an entire month to do one issue. Plus with the issue 9 being added that's another one on the artist's plate.

Looking forward to the conclusion of Old Man Logan. Really glad that he's going to stick around after SW.

Those prices are crazy lol.

I really hope DC is a small week otherwise I'll be hurting next week. For those complaining about Secret Wars running long, this happens every time so why do you expect it to be any different from the previous events that have run over their normal shipping schedule?

It's been quite awhile since I've had a week as full as this ha! I think I'll hold off reading the new universe titles untill Secret Wars is over.

See this is the stuff that pisses me off. Why why WHY are post secret wars books coming out when the story isn't even more then half over yet, seriously pisses me off

Really happy to finally be getting back to normal Marvel stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving Secret Wars, it's just that I've really missed the regular stuff.

Why is Iron Man #1 "Locked from Discussion"?

I feel like there's so much more to do in the main Secret Wars book before you start the new universe. Is this going to spoil the ending?

I have heard spoilers and if they are true then yes at least one of these books will ruin it. I want to read the Iron Man book but I don't want to know what happens in Secret Wars so i'm stuck. I can postpone reading anything new but not hearing anything about them for a few months will be impossible.

Secret Wars #8 was suppose to have come out last week, delays killed everything, but Marvel invested so much into this October date for ANAD they couldn't push it all back.

Marvel here is an idea. When it comes to major event mini series' why not just have all the issues completed and prepped prior to starting the series itself. That way delays don't happen. Like this. Where the launching of the "all new..." isn't colliding with the middle of the event that is shaping all things "all new" with its conclusion. This is just going to make a lot of people trade wait and be angry.
