'Lady Saga' comic Do you go gaga for 'Gaga'? If so, then you may want to pick up the upcoming Lady Gaga comic book published by Bluewater Productions. According to a report over at MTV, Bluewater Productions will be releasing a new line of comics entitled 'FAME,' and that the first feature will appropriately be focusing on the successes of Lady Gaga, who's last album was ironically titled 'Fame Monster.' The comic will be structured in a similar format to Bluewater's ' Female Force' books and will be released this coming May for free comic book day. Hopefully the release of this book will get people who do not normally read comics to hit their local store. This is not the first time that Gaga will be stepping into the realm of comic books. In fact, this past fall we got a look at her very own comic 'Lady Saga' which was exclusively available at Marc Jacobs retailers. The 'FAME' series will feature other pop-culture icons such as Robert Pattinson, 50 Cent, David Beckham and Taylor Swift. Bluewater president Darren G. Davis indicated that the purpose of the comic is to introduce comic books to audiences that normally would not read them.
“Over the past year we saw an opportunity to broaden the scope of who reads comics,” said Bluewater president Darren G. Davis, “There were many who had never picked up a graphic novel or comic book buy our biography titles like Female Force and Political Power. Fame is the natural extension of that trend.”

They gypped my father out of a really cool colorist for some stupid reason, then had the nerve to say that the inker wasn't working out! Not only that, but alot of their art just sucks! but not as bad as their comic ideas!
The cover is horrid. Looks like it took ten minutes on a computer to make using a layer alteration filter. She looks so rough in that picture. Looks similar to Amy Winehouse. The comic screams gimmick that only hardcore fans will buy.
I do respect the fact that comic book companies are trying to create new fans from non comic people but I dont know if its helping. would anybody let me know to see if it Is it progressing. I can see them doing it because that paticular star was into comics thou but I dont think lady gaga was a comic person. Certain things are ok like wwe becoming a comic because I used to be a fan of wwe mania.

They hardly have any real comic book characters as is, alot of their stuff are books about real people.
Who buys comics about musicians anyway? I've never understood why someone would buy a comic of there favorite band, unless they looked like super heros like Kiss. ( loved those comics when I was a kid) Who wants a badly draw version of their favorite artist when you can buy a book with their story and photos or just down load photos of them off the internet.
What are these celebrity comics even about? Obama, Palin, Lady Gaga? I see that celebrities that annoy me are always getting their own comics. Where's my Bob Marley comic lol?
That would be a sweet comic. Bob Marley fighting against racial oppression and flying all over Jamaica. After saving the day, he returns home to sit on his couch, and puffs a blunt all cool like. And he says,"One Love."
I haven't read the books. I supported the guy, but I don't want to see him in comics lol. I don't want to see his smile and fist bump everywhere.

but if gaga's a "fame monster" why does she need a comic? and r. pattinson comic just sounds like epic fail. what is he gonna be, a vampire that kills werewolves? we don't need anymore twilight...... or him.
The comic industry just wants to make things that sells. They just milk out whatever popularity someone/something might have, which I find stupid. But, it sells. Robert Pattison? I don't know. A sparkly vampire running away from his one million fans.
i like Gaga's antics but this is nothing more than a stunt by Bluewater, taking up space on the shelves were real comics and good stories should be. shame on them for their lack of creativty.
I will skim through it. I doubt highly I would purchase it, but it's going to be released in May as part of Free Comic Day, anyway, so I won't have to. I like Lady GaGa, but this is just a marketing ploy.
I don't see how Bluewater can get people into comics because they are so terrible. I guess maybe they could and someone would pick up something else and say 'hey, this isn't garbage!'
I notice lots of comments on the ugly cover. In case you haven't noticed, Lady Gaga is ugly. She looks like Marilyn Manson's daughter.
